I’m not sure what passes for customer service- but when we gave our complaints, the cashier told us “ok”. We had taken two bites of our food and asked to pay for the drinks and we were going to leave her a tip. She continued the transaction as if not listening. I guess those dollars were important. I asked for the manager.
The “manager” came to the front and instantly started questioning me – one question after another- “what’s wrong with the food? Why don’t you like it? I don’t understand why you don’t like it?” I explained my issues with my fajita salad and my husband explained that yes, while piping hot- the food didn’t taste good. The manager was getting increasingly frustrated and began raising his voice “Well I sold 12 of that same plate, and nobody else complained!”
At this point I knew there wasn’t going to be a “next time” for us, and probably no resolution. I walked away-and went to the car. I was very frustrated because while my fajita salad was removed from the bill- he charged for a plate we didn’t eat. He charged us for the food my husband didn’t eat and didn’t care for, while arguing about how many plates he’d sold, and condescendingly asking “Well what was so bad with it?” “Why didn’t you like it?” Over and over and over. To the point my husband paid for his Barry touched plate and our drinks. I’m pretty sure that was the point.
It’s slop on a plate.
The lowest quality of “food” possible.
The fajita chicken wasn’t cut strips like usual- it was weirdly rounded shaped, very small pieces.
It didn’t taste good. It was dried out and the salad was warm and the chicken was cold- even in the middle. I was afraid I might get food poisoning due to temperature concerns.
My husband saw that I couldn’t eat the food and attempted to flag a server but no one ever stopped.
So if you enjoy subpar Tex-mex- “salsa” that tastes like the inside of a tin can, warm salad with cold chicken, less than decent food quality and what could be considered Tex- mex if Mexico was near to Antarctica- THIS is the place for you. Bonus points for argumentative manager and dismissive staff.
If you’d like to give your money to someone who doesn’t care about their quality of food or customers, this is the place for you.
I seriously cannot believe people eat and pay for this food.
