Spectacular BYOB in Phoenixville!
The food was so amazing we drug right in and I only took photos of half the dishes.
Al five in my party thoroughly enjoyed everything we tried.
Tomato caprese, calamari and the sampler with hummus etc all great.
I had one of the many specials with grouper which was very enjoyable.
We also tried the backlava, pistachio ice cream all excellent.
To top it off the staff is very on point!
Will be back

My wife and I celebrated our 43rd anniversary at Sage restaurant in phoenixville PA. I have to say that this was the best meal I’ve had in a long time. I love Mediterranean food and it reminded me of a restaurant we used to go to in Philadelphia called Dimitri’s. The food was fresh, flavorful and full of wonderful sauces and very edible. Delicious dishes. My wife had the ahi tuna and it came with an unbelievable risotto with crab on the top. I could not believe how delicious it was. My dish. Was the seafood tree and the sauce was like nothing I’ve ever had before. Except in in South Philadelphia at dimitris. That was about 40 years ago. What a place! I’ll be back.

I order to go for pickup at 6:34pm , I got there at 6:59pm, remember empty , nobody, you can see the picture
I got inside a guy told me I need to wait 5-10 minutes more, I said no, I’m sorry, I cannot wait 10 more min , no parking spots and guess what, instead of talking with me he turn his back to me and he start cleaning a table
I have continued the conversation, he still ignoring me, I was wow
I said, hey do you hear me, still ignoring me
He never even tried to say sorry or something
I said , I think you have to much business and you don’t care about 1 person, right?

Again, we had an amazing dinner. This is such a hidden gem in town- especially for a BYO. Quiet and intimate, great food and excellent service. The seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. The meals were graciously amended to address the dining preferences (there was a vegan in our party) and everything was really just relaxing and enjoyable. We have eaten here before and will absolutely return.

1st time here. We came with another couple. Our waiter Michael was very soft-spoken and hard to hear at times but very nice. We started with the fried calamari, and it was good. For dinner, I had the fettuccine de mares, which is pasta with seafood. My husband had the rack of lamb. He said it was the best he ever had. All the portions are large compared to other fine dining restaurants. My friend had the fettuccine with smoked salmon, which was excellent. Her boyfriend Angus steak and felt it was tough. For dessert, we got the creme brulee, carrot cake, which was dry, and a triple chocolate cake. Good thing we had early reservations because the place was packed by the time our dinner was served. We had to flag our waiter down to order dessert and to get the check.

We dined at Sage for my friend’s birthday, and I was really impressed by how accommodating all the staff were to meet our needs. The inside was too noisy so we asked to sit outside and they were able to put two tables together for us in the street due to Phoenixville’s first Friday street closure. We started off with the fried calamari rings which were a little chewy but the spicy marinara sauce was delicious. The eggplant Parmesan and the special linguine Bolognese were both wonderful and generous portions.

If you are looking for a Mediterranean food, you are at a wrong place. This place serves some sort of Italian food. When did pasta and lenguinie become Meditranian staple? Better go to an Italian restaurant. I made a reservation a day in advance and was seated at the main entrance. It was cold and we were blasted with cold breeze every time someone entered or left the restaurant. Food was average. Service was ok. Expensive. Nothing good that I can recommend. I will not go again. Either change the name or serve real Mediterranean food. Let’s be honest. Sorry, I could not be any more positive.

A chef owned restaurant with an authentic Mediterranean food, plus other options. The food has a fine bland of spices as you would find in a local Mediterranean restaurant, the meat appears to be great quality, as well as all the other ingredients.
The atmosphere is great, cozy, pretty paints, with proper fine dishes, good service, and a fair price.
I had a great unexpected experience.

Enjoyed a nice lunch at Sage. We ordered a Greek Salad, a bowl of Lentil Soup, and the Sage Mediterranean Platter.
The portions were large, and the three dishes were more than enough food (they also brought fresh bread).
The Mediterranean Platter was the highlight- the baba ganoush was deliciously creamy and the veggies were cooked perfectly.
Service was great. I will have to go back for dinner soon.
