This is a favorite brunch of ours in the area where you can find really great indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating during the summer is amazing and there’s decent seating indoors for the winter. It’s a pay first at the cashier and get your food brought to you place which is convenient and is fast. The food can be a bit inconsistent, but it’s overall good. Their drinks are amazing, I’ve never had a bad drink there! Super dog friendly, I recommend this spot for both small and big groups. All staff are very friendly.

We wanted to try Tunnel Creek Cafe for a quick breast prior to starting an adventurous day in the area. It didn’t disappoint and we were in and out quickly. I had the ponderosa plate with chicken apple sausage. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It was a very friendly atmosphere and will dine here again when in the area.

My rating is based off of my food.
Ordered the breakfast burrito w/house bacon jam.
Pictures look better than it taste! It was more of a dessert favor than breakfast. The overly sweet flavor of the bacon jam made the burrito barely edible. Every bite felt as if I was pouring sugar directly into my mouth.

This was the perfect spot to grab food after hiking or biking. I got the Rancher Salad but turned it into a wrap and added blue cheese. It was so tasty and VERY filling. We could have split it, but it was great. The line around 12:15 was out the door, it moved slow, but wasn’t awful. There are plenty of seats inside and outside. And once ordered the food came pretty quickly. There was a guy playing guitar and singing and there were a few cornhole boards, too.

What a gem. Stopped in for a breakfast sandwich on our tour around Lake Tahoe and loved the setting, decor, and food. Definitely worth the stop!

I saw your reply, but he did tell me that I should’ve complained sooner, and he also said that if I had mentioned I had no cucumbers on my salad they would’ve brought them to me, and if I needed more ranch they’d have gotten it for me. But when I specifically ask for extra extra ranch and get two tiny cups it makes no sense to ask for more if they couldn’t listen to begin with. He said he only could refund 15 dollars of my food which i also I had a sandwich that had spring salad mix on it instead of lettuce which means actual lettuce (not spring salad mix-which was not an option) lettuce was an option on your menu which is what should’ve been on my sandwich. Sir /Ma’am, i do not lie i do not have time for that kind of nonsense. I would really like the refund of 55.17 to be put back on my card. I had never been to your little cafe and when I entered it seemed like a good place to eat till I got my food. A that wasn’t the first person I tried to talk to either I tried to get several people’s attention. But when you have a broken kneecap and are in a leg brace it’s hard to run after someone to get their attention. I mean unless you want me to chase them down and send you a bill for further injury to my knee?

First impression, looked like a great place to eat
The atmosphere is awesome. Though the cashier didn’t listen to my order and messed up my food completely, I got cold chicken on my salad which should’ve been hot, and I asked for cucumbers for my salad, the manager who came to the table
To fix things was cocky, snotty and told me had I complained about my food sooner he would’ve fixed it. But this place has a line out the door and people every where how in the world am I supposed to complain when everyone I see has a handful of food. I’m super angry so my recommendation is don’t eat here. A this is the first time I’ve ever been here and I’m seriously disappointed because this is Tahoe!

Delicious food, warm atmosphere, friendly service

Adjacent to the parking for the East Shore Lake Tahoe Trail, the café offers picturesque views. It’s an ideal pit stop during your Tahoe adventures.

Don’t miss their tasty tacos, hamburgers, and flavorful soups. And if you’re a vegetarian, they have great options for you too!

⭐️ Five-Star Review for Tunnel Creek Café – North Lake Tahoe ⭐️

Tunnel Creek Café is hands down one of the best breakfast spots in North Lake Tahoe! ☕️ The coffee alone is worth the visit—they offer a variety of options, and everything is brewed to perfection. I had a breve cappuccino that was expertly made ☕️✨, while she enjoyed her coffee with alternative milk (almond or oat, I believe). So many options to choose from!

For breakfast, she had eggs over easy on avocado toast , topped with fresh arugula —a simple yet delicious choice. Meanwhile, I went all in with the Grand Slam All-American breakfast —loaded with sausage, bacon, eggs, and pancakes! We even ordered extra bacon because, well, why not? Everything was cooked just right and absolutely hit the spot.

The atmosphere here is another reason to visit. It’s rustic and full of character ️, with that classic Tahoe charm. We sat beneath a giant pair of bull horns ⚡️, which definitely added to the wild West feel. Plus, being so close to what used to be the Ponderosa Ranch brings that old-school Tahoe nostalgia to life. Such a cool spot!

⚠️ Heads up—it can get hectic on big holidays ️, but Tunnel Creek Café is absolutely worth it. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee before a day of adventure ️ or sitting down for a hearty breakfast, this place delivers! Five stars all the way! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My friends and I decided to visit this cafe for our stay at incline village and ordered a variety of dishes. The food was not bad but definitely overpriced for what you got. I payed over 13 dollars for a singular salad (the latte is my friends that I stole from her for the picture), so keep in mind it’s a little pricey. The mocha and latte there is brewed nicely and comes in a cute mug. Really nice atmosphere to sit in as well!

Stopped by Tunnel Creek Café while in Lake Tahoe and tried the Big Bleu Burger—absolutely worth it. The beef was juicy, the blue cheese added the perfect tang, and the crispy onion rings sealed the deal. It’s the kind of burger that hits after a hike or kayak trip. The vibe here is relaxed and welcoming, with outdoor seating that lets you soak in the Tahoe air. Great food, friendly staff, and the perfect spot to recharge after hitting the trails. Highly recommend!
