They’ll have street parking, and decent atmosphere.
I ordered crispy pork belly pho. The veggie dish was a joke. The broth was straight up salty with no distinct Pho flavor. The “crispy” pork belly was not crispy. The cut size was funny. It’s like a an old piece of meat that got fried over so many times that it becomes dried and tough. I dont know if it’s a “clever” way to make it not soggy but I felt like I was eating left over meat. Service was lukewarm

Hands down the best Chinese takeout in the entire metro area. I’ve tried every other recommendation but nothing will have me crossing city lines like IndoChin’s sesame chicken. Consistently crispy, perfectly fried, and perfectly sauced. All of the other classic Chinese American dishes I’ve had from them hit as well. If you’re disappointed by the quality in your area of town, make the trek to IndoChin. It’s absolutely worth it.

I get food here ALOT, and I’m never disappointed. The pho and spring rolls are delicious. Last week I decided to try their crispy pork Boat Noodles for the first time. AMAZING, my new addiction. 10/10 I will always recommend ❤️

I ordered takeout after googling best Thai in Jax. It was not the best Thai in Jax. The main reason I’m writing this review is that the sweet tea had started to ferment. Lots of businesses, including this one, don’t understand that if you leave sweet tea at room temperature for a couple of days or a full day in hot humid weather (it was quite chilly on this day), the sugar in tea begins to ferment and turns the tea rancid. That was the case with my to go sweet tea. Also, I don’t understand why people think adding curry to crab rangoons makes it better. It makes it worse. The pad Thai was not bad, but it was a lot of noodles that outweighed the complimentary ingredients in Pad Thai. I normally don’t complain, but the sweet tea issue needs to be addressed.
Pros: Location was awesome, decor was kind of cool. Not too pricey.
Cons: The bottom line is that people want to walk away feeling they’ve been well-fed with good food, in a clean restaurant where the sweet tea hasn’t turned rancid due to not throwing it out in a timely manner or storing it in a cooler overnight. A tea urn can actually make people very sick. If they don’t know when the tea has met its limit, I doubt they properly sanitize the dispensers on the tea urn where black mold is known to grow. Taking care of your customers starts with the things they never see you do. If you don’t do those things, they will know in the final product and presentation. Needs some improvement. The price wasn’t too bad if I’d been able to drink the tea or eat the crab Rangoons. Since I didn’t get to enjoy those two items, I paid $31 for some okay Pad Thai which was the bummer of my entire day.

I love the beef with potatoes! Sometimes I dream about it. I need to venture out into other areas of the menu, but everything I see come out of the kitchen looks good! And great portion sizes.

We took our daughters here tonight! The service was fast and very friendly, with a family-owned vibe. They even gave my girls some Halloween candy after the meal. My dish was the Hot & Spicy and it was delicious!!

Some pretty good pho! And they open later than most Asian restaurants.

Edit 10/10/22: this place had been under new ownership for a few years now and it’s not as good. Also seems not as Vietnamese, and more Thai. Service has taken a hit, and the food is more generic and uninspired.
Original review: Best Vietnamese restaurant I’ve been to in the twin cities. I appreciate the little touches: the fried shallots, the two types of pork on the rice noodle salad, the pickled radish and carrot. The grilled meats are recognizable – and actually grilled – chunks of meat. It’s not hugely different from other Vietnamese restaurants, but it’s a little better and a little more thoughtful. Update: according to the owner, Andrew Zimmern agrees with me that this is the best Vietnamese in town.

Great Spring rolls, and peanut dipping sauce. I had the chicken curry, was a sweet and unique version I haven’t tasted before. Portions are large, ended up bringing more than half of it home.

Egg rolls are legendary. I was in the mood for something mellow, so ordered the chow mein. Tasty gravy and tons of chicken and veggies. Family liked liked the Conge and hot spicy soup. Service was excellent. Even got rock star parking.
