I’d heard of this place on the internet and travelled from Portsmouth to try it for myself. They surpassed my expectations. The haddock was cooked to order in a separate fryer and was large enough for a friend and I to share. Crispy batter and the chips were proper chip shop chips, not French fries and not greasy. The icing on the cake was gluten free vinegar AND a gluten free Peroni. We sat on the harbour, people watching and living our best life. So good we’re coming back in March, well worth the train fare.

Gluten free Fish and chips cooked to perfection. First time visiting today after hearing so many positive things about the gluten free at this place and you sure did not disappoint.
Bubbly batter and perfect portion sizes.
Will definetly be retuning when I next visit Weymouth and will highly recommend you to other gluten free people. By far one of the best gluten free fish and chip shops in Dorset.

Fantastic Gluten Free cod and chips last night. Massive portion of chips could’ve fed 2 or 3 of us. 2nd time I’ve been and I’d definitely recommend it and it was so close to where we were drinking on the harbour. Seating area was clean, staff were friendly and the food was great.

Gorgeous GLUTEN-FREE fish and chips!
So good we ate there Saturday and Sunday as the 10 year old celiac loved it so much. Staff were friendly and the service is great. Replaces/ Bennetts easily now Bennetts don’t do GF. We will be back soon!! X

I was expecting a lot more from this fish and chip shop due to the reviews but I have to say I was very disappointed very average to say the least nothing wrong but just plain fish and chips. Nothing to write home about. 5/10

A great chippy situated a few steps away from the harbour.
Place features take away and seating options. Seating is spacious and can accommodate larger groups.
Food was delicious & cooked to order. Prices were excellent and very competitive with other similar establishments.

Second visit and not disappointed.

However recently visited again on third occasion and disappointed that even though we were eating in the restaurant they changed 49p x 3 for tomato sauce.
I think they should think again on that when they’re going to the trouble of supplying gluten free vinegar.
However will be returning when next in Weymouth.

Fish&chips are deliciously cooked, but that’s all you get! You have to pay extra for ketchup or mayonnaise. Served without anything. There are only chips and fish in the box…

One of the best cod and chips we’ve ever eat. We had it two days in a row, it was so delicious. Congratulations to the staff, who were incredibly busy during the Bank Holiday rush. I highly recommend it!!!
