Very good food. The salsa was excellent, if come back. A little on the expensive side, but they have a very extensive menu, with some things I’ve never seen before. The chili Colorado was wonderful, as were the beef fajitas.

I went here after a hike at Wallace Falls. This is a decent place. The food was hearty, but plain. I expected more spice (both heat and flavoring spices) than I got. It also serves gigantic portions; the fajita and margarita I ordered were easily enough for two servings. The chips and salsa were superb and the wait staff handled a large party with ease.

Great little place right off the road, prices are a bit high but you get a LOT of food so it makes sense. I got the horchata and a deluxe burrito, very tasty and I had more than enough to take home. We came in the off season so it wasn’t busy and our food came out in 10 min 🙂 Amazing salsa!

The food is fantastic (definitely get their guacamole!). The portions are large. Their staff is awesome. But getting through whatever fog of poo smell is lingering outside in order to enter the building is hard to recover from, unless you hold your breath from your car to the front door.

P.S. I live in San Diego where we have a plethora of Mexican restaurants and La Hacienda is better than any we have been to in California.

We come here often and have never had an issue. My daughter and I come in tonight for dinner and get a huge attitude from the server the moment we walk in the door. We are seated and then ignored. When she finally comes back with chips and salsa, she takes our drink order then starts to walk away. I ask her if she’s our server since we are ready to order. With a huff she comes back and rudely asks what we want. After a moment or two I ask for a new server someone who isnt going to act as if we are the scum on the bottom of her shoes. There was no reason for her attitude unless us coming in was interrupting her sitting and doing nothing since there was no one in here.
We got a new server, flat soda and so so food. This place used to be my favorite but tonight they sucked!

This place is well worth stopping and getting done great food!! Staff is great. Busy tonight and the staff was running like crazy. And still able to keep up and take orders and serve in a very timely manner.

My friends and I stopped there in our way back from our hike to Blanca Lake. I’m giving them a 2 star review because the staff was very nice but I was extremely disappointed by their food, it really was awful, not taste at all, I had the mole enchiladas my friend had caldo de mariscos and my other friend had carne asada with shrimps, the only thing I like was their salsa that was really good. I’m Mexican and I had never had so bad Mexican food anywhere before I don’t know if it was the cook that day but they really need to improve the taste of the food they’re serving.

Absolutely horrible! I got the lunch special which was 12 dollars supposed to be a burrito rice and beans when I asked what all came in the burrito they said everything (lettuce tomatoes etc) sounded like a good deal! Wrong! It was the smallest servings of rice and beans basically mushed together and the burrito had nothing but meat that tasted like it had enchilada sauce in it and cheese on top of the tortilla very disappointed
