Our menu is built on Mexican staples such as tortillas, beans, and spicy salsas. We offer traditional Mexican street food and comfort dishes. We first started as a food truck serving on weekends and now you can find us open everyday as a brick & mortar kitchen inside The Bottling Department (Pearl’s Food Hall). We opened as a family owned and operated business in 2018. Susana and Orlando (owners), grew up in Mexico and started this project in hopes of bringing the dishes they most enjoy eating as a family to their neighbors.

Mix reviews. First, the chilaquil plate was very good but very pricy. Secondly, we didn’t get a text until after getting our food. Lastly, 1 ham and egg taco was $4.50, which was tasteless and pitiful.

Went after the usual lunch rush but right before dinner. It was pretty calm and We were the only ones at the window. We ordered the Chilaquiles Rojos w some tweaks to it. They got everything right and it was out in no time.
They tasted amazing!! The chips were indeed freshly made, the salsa rojo was perfectly spiced and had that “bite” to it I’ve been missing for so long! The queso fresco we the perfect addition! I’ll go again!

Chilaquil, which is located at The Historic Pearl in SATX, is a great spot for Mexican street food!! They are situated in the Food Hall at Bottling, and their space is very well-curated, clean, and well-kept within the building. They make excellent Veggie Tacos (I recommend getting the set of 4, made with flour tortillas)!! The staff were very efficient & kind during my first visit, making my experience all the better! 🙂

This place was exceptional!! The torta was great! Meat was tender, bread was soft with the crusted cheese on it, the sauces were spicy with great flavor. My daughter’s tacos were “the best she’s ever had.” The chips are great and thick, real homemade tortilla chips not out of a bag. We were hoping it would be good it far out did our expectations and the environment sitting out on the lawn at the pearl just adds to the experience! We’ll definitely come here again.

We ordered the chilaquiles verdes and the carne asada tacos with the blue tortillas.
The chilaquiles were delicious. I loved the cebolla curtida they put on them. The plate had a beautiful presentation.
The tacos were good, just didn’t like the plate they were served on.
The green and red salsas given to us for the tacos were nice and spicy, like a traditional Mexican salsa should be.
Lastly, we had a Mexican Coca-Cola, served nice and cold.
Of course, let’s mention the location, we came on a Monday and it was a great day to come. The location is beautiful and it was not overcrowded.

Stumbled here and what an awesome find. Great vibes here. Staff was super friendly and they have excellent food. I got the chilaquiles with the poblano salsa and a steak breakfast taco. Not too spicy and it definitely warmed me up on a cold day. Friends got some tacos and they have options for different tortillas too. Will definitely come back

The ordering process was smooth, my food order was 4 tacos and they were made correctly. My drink was lemonade aqua fresca and there wasn’t any fresca… the drink taste much like water and a hint of lemonade. Overall the meal was good and the drink I’m sure is much better on another day. 8/10 I recommend.

This place was delicious. After being treated rudely at boiler house and leaving, we were happy to stop by the food hall and find some goodies. I had the torta sandwich and it did not disappoint. The horchata tasted fresh and delicious as well. The portion was perfect. My daughter got the al pastor tacos and they were amazing!

I enjoyed the Al Pastor Mini Taquitos and the horchata was good just wish it was not packaged , I could tell the difference from homemade and packaged . My only complaint was NOT receiving a message that my food was ready , I understand I was dining with a friend however the girl could’ve been descriptive that my friend would get a text message that BOTH our orders would be ready . I was not aware and she saw me .

The food here never disappoints! The tacos are always filled generously, the flavor is always on point. Also love that you get a little side of chips with the tacos and 2 different salsa’s.
