The owner is one of the nicest people to start, the food is always good and the menu is ever evolving from this New(ish) food truck. One of if not the best places to Grab Hawaiian food in or around the Salem area.

Jake hooked us up with the best kahula pork I’ve had since I was in Hawaii. The pineapple coleslaw was a perfect combo, and even though it made my sandwich nice and juicy, the bun never got soggy, even transporting it home. That’s some kind of magic! The mac salad was also excellent, not too much dressing and well seasoned. 11/10, bonus point for the friendly service!

The chicken was juicy, rice was sticky and fluffy and the mac salad was SO good. I’m always cautious of mac salad because the “chain” hawaiian food in town has was is equivalent to plastic mac salad. This mac salad had a great texture and flavor. No Mushy mac salad! The whole family loved our meal, the employees were super friendly and we will definitely be coming back for more!

Great service and very friendly! The food was so good and their shaved ice slushes were refreshing and sweet. They had so many different flavors to choose from. Their Kalua pork sandwich was very tasty and I loved that it came with mac salad and Hawaiian chips. Will be back to try their plates soon!

Just in case you where wondering, this place is AMAZING. First time coming here. Was doing some work near by and the smell was wonderful. So that is what sucked me in and OMG did I make the right decision. I had the standard plate. Teriyaki with two scoops of rice and some macaroni. The meat was so soft and really mixed well with the macaroni and teriyaki sauce. Will definitely come back.

Shaka Brah is a fantastic place for some good eats and great service! The owner is friendly, hard-working, and does not compromise on his standards. The meals are fantastic- you won’t find anything like it! His Mac salad is to DIE for. Hawaiian taco Tuesday’s are my favorite- the pineapple coleslaw is addicting.

So delicious and plenty of good eats for what you pay for. Got the beef Ono short ribs and spicy passion chicken teriyaki with mac salad. So good even before I put the additional teriyaki sauce on it.
While it did take a bit for my food to come, Jake here is all by him self and has had a steady flow of customers grabbing some epic grub for lunch.
