Went to the Draper location for the first time and we usually frequent the South Jordan location as my son loves donuts, especially donut holes but we were around the Draper area so we gave it a try. The employee didn’t seem super happy at work and sadly the donut holes looked abused on the shelf and was even more abused by the tongs & paper bag they use.
We’ve never experienced this in South Jordan as our donuts are usually full but if you look at pictures below, all 2 dozen of them were squished. Sad. Taste wise, they taste amazing as usual. I would just prefer my donuts to not be squished so they look more appetizing.

Decided on a goal this year to find the best raspberry fritter available to me. Purchased two this morning without realizing how large they are. Good crunch. Good flavor. Very nice experience until I got to the center. Both were undercooked and doughy. Rating of 3 is too low but 4 is too high. I’ll try again and see if it improves.

I’ve now been to this establishment approximately a half dozen times. The lady who owns this place with her husband is so kind the way I see her interacting with her customers is amazing! Thank you mama for what You’re doing the world needs more business owners like you and your husband. Onto the donuts they rule and the prices are amazing! If you’re getting your donuts anywhere but here you’re doing it wrong.

What kind of joke is this? I got a poorly made latte (doesn’t take good at all) it felt light and sure enough it’s no where near full. Two stars because the donut taste decent. Save your money unless you like nasty over priced, under poured coffee. How can I get a refund for my $6?

This place is busy on a Saturday morning! Proof that their donuts are super good! I would recommend this place for anyone who is looking for fresh and continually made donuts! They pump them out all morning long! The only item of feedback is that they have a tiny little sign in the back the points to where the line begins but it’s really really hard to see and nobody follows it so if they had a better system of helping people lineup, I think the flow of the store would go better. Overall, the donuts were incredible and we are super happy that we decided to go to the donut shop!

I have had their donuts many times and they are delicious. I usually don’t like donuts but I can’t say no to these. I recently had pink box and had no idea why people talk about pink box when these are significantly better. Would highly recommend.

I placed an order the night before to get donuts for a meeting at work, and scheduled it to be picked up at 8:45am. I arrive at 8:45 and tell them I have an order, and they look around confused. I ordered a bunch of glazed donuts and a couple chocolate. They put a few chocolate donuts in a box, then say “we’re out of glazed”.
What’s the point of my ordering the night before if my order isn’t going to be put together until I arrive? And what’s the point of scheduling a pickup time if it’s not going to be ready? Now I’ve wasted 10 minutes waiting in line and waiting for them to start boxing up donuts just for the bulk of my order to be out of stock.
I couldn’t show up at my meeting with just a couple chocolate donuts so I told them to just cancel the order. Now I have to show up to the meeting, late, looking like I was unprepared because Donut Star can’t fulfil orders. Extremely disappointing.
EDIT: I changed it from 1 to 4 stars because I placed an order another day and it was ready, and the owner offered a replacement order for the issue with my original order. It’s not 5 stars because I still don’t love that they didn’t notify me in any way that my original order would not be fulfilled because of a large order earlier in the morning. Doesn’t give me confidence that my orders will always be ready.

Honestly, these are still some of the most delicious donuts in utah, however, the prices have gone stupid ridiculous. It is double what it was just a few years ago. Service is always great, but unfortunately, their prices have forced me to not return as a customer.
Edit to address reply from owner: you should just be honest. You found that you can stay just as busy charging $25 per dozen, so you do. Nothing wrong with you making as much money as possible. Dont hide behind bogus cost concerns. Make your money, I support it

Absolutely love these donuts. They have all the amazing classics and some really fun donuts that bring some really good flavors. I love their cronuts and how fluffy they are. So many layers and so much delicious flavor. The workers here are also so nice and give some really good recommendations.

The donuts are fine, the kids love it though. Kid working there looked 14 but wow what a solid worker! You can tell his attitude and hard work will take him places. Don’t order a latte there .
