If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would! This place was filthy, my food was under cooked and the bathroom was so nasty you would think it was an abandoned building. The employees were very unprofessional and all looked as though they had not bathed in days, if not longer. I started my complaint very calm and very civil, that is until one of the employees unfortunately thought it was a good idea to get cute and smart mouthed with me, while apparently assuming that I didn’t have any ‘Karen’ in me. She then walked away. I then asked (a different employee) to speak to a manger, another (male) employee looked up and then quickly disappeared into the back room off of the kitchen. I then asked the same employee if that was the manager that walked away when I asked for the manager and she said he was and I had to ask her to go ask him to come speak with me. I would really like to know who owns this store or who the REAL manager is because the manager on duty gave me a fake phone number when I asked for his boss’s phone number. When I mentioned how nasty and filthy the dining room and bathrooms are the excuse was “we haven’t had time to clean them because we’ve been so busy”. Although, we were the ONLY customers in the building during our visit and two of the four employees were standing out back, with the back door open, smoking cigarettes (but they didn’t have time to clean the dining room or the bathrooms). I also watched an (older) female employee come in the (propped) open back door as she blew cigarette smoke out of her mouth and go straight to the food preparation area and start handling food/food prep supplies without washing her hands. As for the bathroom photo, I realize that this is something that could have occurred very shortly before I entered the bathroom. But, the entire bathroom was filthy and it was very apparent that it had not been attended to for a lengthy period of time that day if any at all.
We spent $37 at this store for 2 adults and one child and what little we did eat, wasn’t worth the paper it was wrapped in. We all ended up abandoning our meals and cutting our loses. I have included two of several photos that we have. These two photos should really be all that is needed for a decision to be made of whether or not this is your kind of dining. Hope they are more prepared for a health department visit than they were for our visit. Note* We did not finish eating our food once I realized the burger was undercooked nor did we ask for a refund.

They call it a Whopper! Ordered my Whopper with tomatoes only because that’s the way I like it. King’s motto have it your way, right? This happens every time I go there. Always get two slices of a very small tomato, unless you wish to pay 0.19 on top of the already $4.49 price. But Burger King in Defuniak Springs youth absolutely outdone yourself this time! I ordered online & opted to go into the store to retrieve my food.I was greeted with a smile & good afternoon by David.I told him that I had an online order & wanted to know if it was ready since I just placed the order 10 minutes ago.He said ” yes ma’am” with a smile & handed me my food.He also made sure my order was all there & right.It was warm & fresh.Kaitlynn the manager was also very warming & inviting about the deals they have & so forth.I explained to her that I had already received my online order & was just getting extra paper towels for my messy kids 🙂 She told me thank you for choosing to eat with them & I went on my Merry way.I highly recommend eating here now,before my reviews would have been a not so positive experience.They have really improved!!! Stopped at this location while traveling back home from Florida. I don’t eat beef or pork, so I opted for the fish sandwich. Although I don’t eat at BK much these days for the reason I mentioned earlier, I found the fish sandwich to be pretty decent. The best part was that lettuce wasn’t wilted like some locations. The cashier was friendly, and the service was prompt. If I am in the area traveling again, I would consider stopping here again.

Even at closing time, they were friendly and my food was fresh. Received my order quickly. The store looked clean and well organized. I loved that they had crowns for the kids stacked up like a tower. I remember always getting a crown from BK when I was a kid!!

Went to the drive thru on Saturday evening. The kid that took my order and delivered it was the most pleasant individual I’ve run into in a long time. Didn’t get his name. He was a young maybe Hispanic and a real pleasure, kind of employee you need.

Drive thru order. I love Burger King, but I never go to this one because they are trash. Takes forever to get food. Suspect individuals working there. They always want you to pull forward even though nobody else is in line. Timer at the window I’m guessing. This place needs new management bad!! Landscaping outside looks terrible. It’ll be closing with all the new businesses opening around here. Come on Burger King corporate! Care about this store and fix this crap!

Very rude guy who took our order at window yesterday around 3 4pm. Ugly attitude because we had two coupons not to mention his hygiene was awful. The female that gave us our food was a sweetheart. Unfortunately we had to make another trip bk because they didn’t put our 2nd order in bag. Sad to say this place has gone down hill. The food wasn’t the best, the bread tasted old.

My wife doesn’t eat Burger King but I thought I would treat myself today. I dealt with the long line at the drive thru. I wasn’t mad when they gave me a sweet tea when I ordered a Coke (receipt said coke). I was very upset when I bit into my Whopper. No onion, the smallest tomato, a few shreds of lettuce, cold meat patty,pickle and mayo. I cant eat it its garbage. I finally went to Burger King and was so disappointed I may never go back.
