Usually when we get food from the backyard it’s pretty good but today we went in and got a buffalo chicken melt and ended up with a couple pieces of chicken, way too much sauce, and cold shredded cheese all between two pieces of barely toasted white bread.. no onions or ranch in sight.

Used to be one of my favorite places. I don’t know what happened. But hardly ever open when I want to get food closes when it gets hot, tonight they were open but apparently if there is going to be a band the menu is limited to what looks to be mostly appetizers, that doesn’t help when I want dinner. Kind of tired of trying to give them my business. I imagine the food is still good and the service i imagine is is good. When you can actually get the food. Friday night and I would have loved a burger. Very unfortunate how things have gone.

My family and I visited last weekend, the service and food was amazing! We ordered and within 10 ish minutes received all of our food. I ordered the whiskey bbq burger and it was delicious. My brother got the mac and cheese and chicken strips and ate the whole thing. Our server was very friendly and met all our expectations. Definitely will be coming back and recommending to my family and friends!

I was in town visiting a friend and she recommended the Backyard for dinner. Our waitress, Gracie, was very pleasant and helpful. Because of her is the only reason I am giving the high rating that I am.
I ordered a well done cheeseburger without bun. When I received it, the inside of the burger was very bloody and the outside of the thin patty was burnt. I sent it back and another cheeseburger came out. This one was extra burnt and when I took a bite, I could taste propane.
The wife of the cook then stated the first burger was well done and that’s what I get when I want it cooked more. She did not offer to refund money. She did offer to cook something else but I had already ordered three different things (first one was because of my dietary restrictions) and I did not want to taste what seemed to be propane. My bill came to approximately $31. I gave $40. After waiting 10-15 minutes my change had not returned. We decided to leave because my friend had waited patiently for me to get to eat.
I spoke with Gracie on way out and informed her any money due to me was her tip. There were only two other tables so no reason my change could not have came right back.
I would like to think Gracie got her tip and refund for the unedible cheeseburger. She was the only good experience. Will not be back.

I brought an out of town guest to the Backyard 7/20/24 around 7 pm.
Our first server, Gracie, was friendly & helpful.
My friend ordered a burger well done. I was shocked to see a pre-made burger as thin as a McDonald’s burger and was burnt on the outside but bloody juices in serving basket. It was sent back and the second burger was completely burnt up plus had a taste of propane. It was uneditable. Another server, Erin (cook’s wife), took over and we told her about how awful the food was and showed her the burnt burger but she did not offer any kind of refund. She did offer to cook some else but I already finished my dinner 20-30 minutes prior while my friend kept waiting for her meal.
I had a tenderloin which was good but the bun was burnt.
I was very disappointed & won’t be bringing any other guest/visitors back and don’t know if I’ll go back.

I LOVE The Backyard! Their burgers are amazing, and seem to have a nice flame grilled taste! Servers have always been so attentive. If you’re looking for a nice place to have a beer and burger, you’re in the right spot!

Homecoming activities day! We had lunch! Love the atmosphere, service and food was great. Owner is very nice and visited with us…made our lunch experience special. I want to come back to see the bands they talked about and feature there! Hoping to find a calendar of events!
