What a perfect gem! We were staying across the street and stopped here for a bagel our first full day in town. We loved it so much we had to stop in again before we left. Bagels are amazing, service and prices are great, all around a must stop!

Waited to stop from the lower peninsula on the way to copper harbor and was worth the wait. $7.50 for this bagel (Italian sandwich on the Jalapeno Cheddar bagel) was well worth it. It was fresh and filling. Will definitely swing by next year again.

We stopped for a quick bagel sandwich to go this week and were very happy to find this little bagel shop. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and they were out of the everything bagels in the store but the shop owner overheard us trying to decide on an alternate and offered to snag one out of his stash that he was about to be hauling off to the farmer’s market that day. We gladly accepted the offer. He spoke with us for a while and detailed all of the local farmers and food producers that they support by sourcing a lot of their ingredients from them. It was a great experience and the folks there were super sweet. We will definitely be sure to stop back in the next time we are in the area.

Jillberts ice cream is a real treat Mackinac island fudge in a waffle cone. Service was good a little slow as only 1 person working on a Friday night. Even though there weren’t a lot of people coming in might be more enticing if you were able to move people’s orders through at a faster pace. Haven’t tried the bagels but would definitely like to try them especially during blueberry season. Sounds like they use the fresh blueberries from a local source not too far from the shop.

My husband and I shared the most delicious beef and cheddar bagel sandwich! The staff was amazing, friendly and answered all of our questions with a smile. The restrooms were clean and fully stocked. Overall it was a wicked great dining experience!!!

Copper Island Bagels is a gem! The owner is incredibly warm and welcoming, making the experience feel so personal and special. The bagels are absolutely fantastic. My Reuben bagel was one of the best I’ve ever had, packed with flavor. The shop has a cozy vibe with board games and Wi-Fi, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy. You can tell this place is run with heart. Highly recommend stopping by for a delicious bagel and a wonderful atmosphere!

My visit today was absolutely wonderful! Being a poor college student who craves real food, these bagels made me remember that there is actual food outside of the dining halls! I would highly highly recommend their bagel sandwiches!
Edit: For my Tech Students, after chatting with the owners, they are going to Calumet, Houghton, and Chassel Farmers markets and they are trying to do deliveries to tech. They are also in kahoots with the Tech Dining services, so ask for them and we will receive!

Everyone was super friendly! Bagels were made fresh and you can see them making them! The vibe was super good and there’s an outdoor seating as well 😀
