This bar was a great find! The atmosphere was awesome, I felt welcomed from the second I walked in. You could tell the bartenders loved their jobs and loved the business. The drink and food suggestions were top notch. If I’m ever back in the Bourbonnais area, I will be coming back!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. We were staying at the KOA campgrounds about 15 minutes away. Our camper got totaled on the way to camping, and we were without any AC for our dogs and kids and needed a place to escape the heat on the hottest week of the year. I called them, and the owner answered, told her about our large party, 4 dogs, 5 kids, and 4 adults, and she welcomed us with open arms. We were over heated and hungry. This restaurant was the highlight of our stay and dog friendly! We had the cheese curds, wings, jalapeño poppers, fries, pork tenderloin sandwich, smash burgers, grilled cheese, vodka& sodas, beers, and everything was amazing. The prices were fantastic, as well as the service. The kids had a little place to go outside and watch some old school movies on VHS and all of our kids loved the antiques player. Best part they figured out how to use the VHS. They have a huge beer garden and area to play bags too. They were all super welcoming and this is going to be our place to visit any time we are down this way. Thank you again for your hospitality and we can’t wait to come back again! You were our highlight. We all live in Chicago, and even went as far as saying, we would make the trip down there from the city just to go support their business.

The bartend was a cool guy and kept us active with conversation which is refreshing! Good food, great drink prices and live entertainment which is super cool too. Can’t wait to come back to watch our first comedy show ever next week!

I can’t say enough good things about our experience! Waitress was amazing. Smash burgers were incredible. Cheese curds for an appetizer. Reasonable beer prices. My only question is why in the world wouldn’t you want to come here and enjoy this great place?

This is the Cutest, Coziest Bar. The owner is Fabulous and the Bartender was Awesome. Poker machines were paying out. Jukebox had all the good tunes. Drinks and Good food all fairly priced. I will definitely return here.

Enjoyable little Pub to stop at, grab a drink or 2, and eat. Smash burger and fries were delicious. Decent beer and whiskey selection to choose from. Service was great! Bar tender was accommodating. Locals were inviting and open to conversation.

Visited River Rock Pub for the first time yesterday after the Jumbo Pork Tenderloin Sandwich came highly recommended from a user on the “Pursuing Pork Tenderloin Sandwiches” Facebook group. Boy-oh-boy! I’ll tell you what: That was undoubtedly the single best Pork Tenderloin Sandwich I’ve had in my adult life. Cooked to perfection & seasoned just right, that sandwich hit the spot! – I’m only 5 miles down the road, so I will certainly be back to eat at River Rock Pub again in the future! – I’ve lived in Kankakee for 4 years now and regret not finding this place sooner… absolute local Kankakee gem! Great Service, Great Food, Great People, Great Atmosphere, and Great Prices. – Highly Recommend River Rock Pub to anyone in the Kankakee Area.
