Reviews
Fast forward to Thanksgiving 2025. We decided to give BG another try and made reservations for dinner. They did not offer meals to go and so we knew we’d be dining inside.
We entered BG and the dining room was about 1/2 full, the gaming bar had about 8 people and the right hand bar had 2 customers gaming. We told the hostess (very nice) that we would take a non-gaming seat at the right bar. She seated us and we reviewed the menu but had already decided on the Thanksgiving special.
When the bartender came back to the bar, the previous experience came rushing back to us as it was the same young lady as before. She asked if we wanted a drink and we ordered drinks. She brought the drinks but did not ask us anything about food and left the bar. After a few minutes, a gentleman sat down about 4 seats away and it was obvious most of the Staff knew him as they came over to speak. The bartender returned, walked past us and greeted the gentleman. As she was walking away, we stopped her and advised we’d like to order dinner. Again, there are only 5 of us at her bar. She took our order and again, disappeared.
After a few minutes our Thanksgiving dinner was delivered by a runner and it looked delicious. However, there was no gravy on the stuffing or mashed potatoes. Don’t get us wrong, the food was amazing but we needed gravy. We noticed the lone gentleman ordered the Thanksgiving dinner also and flagged down one of the other servers and asked for gravy. They went to the kitchen and came back with him a saucer of gravy. After waiting, the bartender came back, again went right by us and talked to the gentleman. As she started to walk by us without checking yet again, we stopped her and asked for gravy and a couple of glasses of water. She went to the POS terminal, entered something and brought us some water. She advised “The gravy will be coming out”. No how is everything – is there anything you need – NOTHING!
After a few minutes, a young lady came out of the kitchen with a saucer of gravy and now, we can enjoy our dinner.
As we were just about finished, the bartender came back, blew by us and was talking to the gentleman. My wife overheard the bartender say “She had gotten so drunk the night before so she could just get over having to work Thanksgiving Day”. Well, that certainly explained the non-existent service and I Could Care Less attitude.
At this point, we had finished our dinner and understood desert came with the meal. As the bartender walked by, we stopped her and asked about the desert. She seemed shocked and said “Yes, it is included – do you want it?” We ordered the pie and ate it as fast as we could thinking we need to get outa here. BUT WAIT…..
We stopped her again and asked for our bill. Imagine our surprise when we noticed she had charged us $1.00 for the saucer of gravy. (See pic of the bill)
And the food was excellent – that’s the only reason we’re giving 3 stars. But charging us for a saucer of gravy that frankly should have been on our plate to start with is an insult. (See pic of plate before we added the gravy)
The food was amazing. But it seems either this person is “special” or the management is not aware. After this review, they can’t use that last excuse again.
Cheers,

Mom ordered biscuits gravy and eggs. She bragged profusely about how these potatoes were perfectly seasoned and had zero grease. The gravy left a bad taste so she was afraid to eat it.
My only complaint was a profuse amount of hair in the seat in the booth. I’m thinking how often would one think to vacuum out the crevices in the booths???
Well otherwise this place is a recommendation. The food is good and the service is impressive. Atmosphere is very nice as well. Price is on par with everywhere else. Happy hour is best. Enjoy.
What truly sets Boulevard Grill apart, though, is the welcoming small-town atmosphere. You can feel the pride and heart that goes into running this restaurant the moment you walk through the door.
A huge part of that is thanks to the leadership of Rhonda, the manager, and Bryant, the assistant manager. They run the restaurant with impressive efficiency and professionalism, but more importantly, they do it with genuine warmth. They’re both incredibly easy to communicate with — approachable, responsive, and always willing to help. It’s obvious they care deeply about both their customers and their staff.
Honestly, if anyone finds themselves having “issues” with either of them, it’s far more likely to be a personal issue than anything to do with the way they operate. From what I’ve seen, they’re exceptional at what they do.
Boulevard Grill is a wonderful place to eat, relax, and feel at home. Highly recommended!
The food was just out of this world. For shareables/appetizers, we ordered the cheeseburger eggrolls (favorite) and street nachos. Just delicious! The nachos had a great flavor/taste and I highly recommend you try it if you love nachos.
I had the chicken parmigiana, came with 1 toast (I’ll need to remember to order extra); my momma had the shrimp scampi; sister had fried chicken and aunty had fish & chips. Everything was delicious and there were no leftovers!
For desserts we shared the wild berry upside cake and the brownie sundae, which was also phenomenal.
My sister ordered a lavender alcoholic beverage which was so beautiful and you could totally taste the lavender in it.
This place is just beautiful, cleaned and staff were all awesome!!!
First time here and I was blown away. You don’t expect the inside to look this good (forgot to take pictures by the way). The menu was really good; they had lunch specials that was affordable & the food was just delicious! Definitely coming back to try out the other things on the menu. I gave the service 4 stars because it seemed it took the waiter a little long to take our order and having to flag them for refills but other than that… it’s another gem on Water Street, Downtown Henderson.
We had the hamburger egg rolls, wedge salad and chicken wings. Food arrived quick, hot and was great!
Lots of choices on their menu too!
