My family love this restaurant!!! It’s hands down one of the best Italian food restaurants in and around Lawrence, NJ. We order from there often but I also like eating there. It’s a cozy place!!! You’ll love the food and the atmosphere too! It reminds me of an Italian restaurant in Moorestown that my parents and our family used to go to all of the time. Candelas is definitely a great place to eat!

Plenty of menu options with good portion sizes. I found the personal pepperoni pizza somewhat greasy, with subpar pepperoni, cheese and crust. My companion enjoyed his turkey sub. Service was excellent. Parking was plentiful. I would not go out of my way to go here again.

A good friend of mine and I stopped here for dinner this evening. The service was absolutely outstanding! The attention to the service was excellent and definitely very clear in everyone’s efforts. Javier and the new young lady working were phenomenal! To hear things like my pleasure when providing a service, its little things like this that go the furthest. They did such an amazing job of making sure the food was fresh and well prepared to our liking which it certainly was.
Right before leaving, I met with Frank who was a delight in turn and he listened to my comments which were great in turn. This is wonderful, you guys get good marks for me and I will be back. Good job again!

The customer service was amazing, they were all so nice and attentive to the customers. Having experience as a server, I noticed how they were details oriented. Frank, the owner, I believe was so nice and welcoming, as I was paying and about to leave, he came to introduce himself to me and noticed I was not from around here. He made me feel welcomed, as I just moved here from Florida the night before. After driving over 15 hours over 2 days, I really appreciated them. They made me feel like at home and I needed this. I had the Pasta Vodka with Penne and the tiramisu and it was delicious and the portions were generous. I will come back for sure.

Pizza is good. Dining area is also great for families. They have some great specials so do check them out and their portions are big. I gave them another try as I didn’t love the onion rings one time, but the special they had – the calamari in sweet chilli sauce was great.

First time I’ve been here with my son and the food and service were absolutely amazing! My son had chicken fingers and French fries, I indulged in Eggplant Parm in vodka sauce
with spinach – pure heaven! Topped it off with an espresso and giant slice of Tiramisu (best I’ve ever had!!) for dessert. Big thank you to Franky the owner, such a sweet and generous man!

Had the Rigatoni Rustica. Perfecto! Also.wd had Chicken Francaise, highly rated, and a few slices of pizza which my kid loved. The service was fantastic, 5 star. We’ll be back.
