If you’re in the small town of Ridgecrest and looking for vegan options that also taste good, this place did the job. They can make their dishes vegan and seem to understand what that means. We get spoiled by the rest of California having a plethora of vegan only restaurants so being in a town without that is weird but at least you can find options. Service was friendly too. Would come here again!

What a fun little spot. As soon as you enter, you can smell the delightful scents of garlic and spices! We treated ourselves with a few items on the menu.

Delicious food everytime we eat at Bangkok House The beef jerky, papaya salad, and pad see-ew are my absolute favorites from here. Everything is always made fresh and the owners are very sweet. Thank you!! Kap khun ka 🙂

Great priced Thai food with good portions. Highly recommend their curries, even though they have other Asian food as well, such as pho and teriyaki chicken.
Their Khao Soi had less soup/broth than I would have liked, but I really liked the flavor profile.
There is plenty of parking outside and they have a cozy interior with 6-7 tables.
They can accommodate large groups and one can easily make a reservation in advance!

Food was delicious, portions were smaller for the price we’re used to.
Mango dessert was good- it’s the sweet rice and coconut cream that made up for the mango that wasn’t sweet. Better to have during mango season.

Wooow! I’m blown away how good the food is here. We’re on a trip and had been eating Thai food but this is the best place out of all!!
The portions are filling and delicious. I love they provide the spice tray upon asking. Food is heavenly delicious. I think this place is going to take-off. I can say that the food here is very close to the actual authentic Thai flavors.
Green Curry was actually green and very flavorful. I’m saying actually green because the other day we ordered green curry but it was red comes with a lot of white rice too!
Crab fried rice is good too but I wish there were actual lumps of crab and not tiny pieces. Maybe crab quantity needs to be a little bit more too. But nonetheless it was tasty.
Coconut ice cream was totally something else than what we expected. It came with the toppings of crunchy peanuts, Jack fruit, some transparent looking things lol, sticky rice and bit of milk. You guys have to be crazy for serving such an amazing delicious variety of food!

Ridgecrest doesn’t have much to offer in terms of restaurants, but there are a few places I would find comparable to LA or Vegas, this is one of those places. All the food I’ve gotten here has been great. The place is being run by new ownership, so I think they have to deal with a bad reputation from previous owners. Not too mention if you notice the one star reviews are mostly from people that have literally one review (probably local competition making up bad reviews) They’re super friendly in there and they’ve remodeled the place a bit from what I can see, although the building (like everything in ridgecrest) is pretty dated. With how expensive every thing has gotten recently I feel like the prices are really reasonable, most of the meals are about 12-17 Dollars. I’ve already been back a few times, I would recommend it and will be back in the future.
