Went to Grimaldi’s for lunch today. Absolutely fantastic place. Really cool atmosphere and the pizza was absolutely phenomenal! We will definitely be going back. Ordered a couple of Cahaba Blonde’s and the hot honey pepperoni pizza. Great service as well.

We were able to walk in with very little wait. The service was friendly and prompt and the pizza was very good! It is a great spot if you like thinner crust pizza- great undercarriage! Highly recommended!

I’m currently on the hunt for the best pizza spots in the Birmingham metro area, and this one is definitely being added to my list!

The New York City–themed ambiance is so fun and instantly sets the tone. Our waiter, Brady, was amazing—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. We ordered the extra pepperoni hot honey pizza, and it was delicious—the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and savory.

Our pizza came out a little burnt on the outer edges (I honestly thought that was how it was supposed to be, so it didn’t bother me!), but the staff went above and beyond. They made us a completely new pizza to take home—at no cost—and still encouraged us to enjoy the first one. That level of customer service is rare and so appreciated.

Between the atmosphere, the food, and the exceptional service, Grimaldi’s Hoover has officially earned a spot as one of my go-to pizza places. Highly recommend! ✨

This was our first trip to Grimaldi’s pizza, but we will definitely be back! Riley was our server and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better! She met us at the door, and invited us in, and showed us the brick coal fire ovens, and the decor here is awesome! She seated us in the lower area, and it was wonderful! They have decor from the 1930’s- 1950’s New York era complete with photos of the rat pack! Real cloth tablecloths, that are red and white checked, and white napkins. The music is excellent from the same era! We ordered a large Brooklyn Bridge pizza ( I believe that’s right) and it was excellent! The crust was perfection! Crunchy, but not hard and wasn’t chewy, ample toppings. We then ordered dessert. My husband ordered the chocolate cannoli, it’s a cannoli filled with cream and dipped in hard shell chocolate sprinkled with chocolate chips. He said it was wonderful! I splurged and went for the dessert trio. You can mix and match any three deserts on their menu. I love cheesecake, and they were offering their “fall favorites” cheesecakes as well as their year round cheesecakes. I opted to try a slice of the caramel apple , a slice of the pumpkin, and a slice of house original cheesecake. They were all good, but my favorite was the pumpkin! They do have a bar that offers beer, wine and mixed drinks. Their sweet tea was very good, too! We loved this place and the food so much, we can’t wait to go back! Their restrooms were very clean and well decorated.

Wonderful find! On the road for a multi week day road trip and jumped off the highway just to grab a quick cheap room and happened to have a Grimaldi’s very close by. Excellent Pizza!! and the service is just a little too good to even mention… ( it was Riley ) !!
Come get yourself this thin, amazing, righteous pie!

1st. Meet our server: Jet, Beast, Jake! This guy is awesome . If the server is the sell for the food this guy doesn’t MISS. When asked what he recommends I went with his recommendations.
The Don & Bruschett. Jackpot like I said this guy doesn’t Miss. I’m from New York and if you know anything about New York you know we are surgical about pizza.
OMG ! Grimaldi’s New Name Is: “New Bama Pizza” Now I don’t know how they got a rating of 4.6 Maybe these people know nothing about taste profiles.
From me they get the: “Fuhgeddaboudit” Triple Crown .
When your this good a ⭐, no matter how many would be disrespectful. Jake, This “Thing Of Ours” will continue because of you. That Server Is “The Don”…

My first time here was extremely pleasant. My friend and I went around 5:00 and it wasn’t as busy, but, it started picking up the later it got and by the time we left, it was packed. The atmosphere is great, the pizza was also great (loved the variations) and the servers/management are extremely kind and attentive. The service was A1 . Specific shout out to Brady our waiter who was so attentive and sweet! We really appreciate him! Also, I don’t know if he was the manager, but someone else also came by to make sure we were okay. Great service and pizza! I will definitely be going again.

Had family in town from up north and they were excited to see we had a Grimaldi’s down here in the South. They raved how good they were! So we all met up for dinner. It was okay, nothing like the one up north they said. Had same type pizza but none of the other Italian dishes. So we all were disappointed there. We understand not all places might carry the same food but the pizza and what appetizers we got was just ok. It’s not true Italian. There are several other better pizza places around we will stick to that taste much more authentic.
The wait staff was great and very nice checking on us. We did have a long wait due to our party of eight. Overall I would give it a 6 out of 10
