The food is really delicious. I had the comfort. It’s like a nacho that you build yourself. It was surprisingly reasonable depending on what toppings you put on. I had french fries, pulled pork, lettuce and green onions. It came to maybe nine dollars. My husband was happy with a big bowl of chili. Really smoky and delicious. Our son had a burger and wings and was very happy with that also. The decor is kind of fun with a big open ceiling and some murals depicting circus characters. I would definitely go back.

First time in town for the Holly’s Ladies Night, decided to grab some food. The vibe was super cool, and Derrick, our waiter, took good care of us. The food was delicious! We weren’t sure what to expect since it was our first time in the area, but the burnt-ends, cabbage rubin soup and the Signature Smokehouse Brisket Melt Sandwich were on point. Topped it with a brew flight! My photos do it no justice but all tasted great. Cheers!

The SE MI Brewery Discovery Tour rolls into Holly.
A really nice place. Used to come to camping here in Holly several times a year when I was growing up but I have no recollection of town so, I stopped in on the way to Flint for a brewery & lunch.
Service is pretty good, beertenders are quick, professional, as well.
It is a bit over halfway full and it is more than a little loud. The music can barely be heard over the other conversations.
The BBQ burger was very good. Single patty was $12 & a half, double was near $17. A bit pricey but not uncommon. Got a side of jalapeño cornbread for $3.25. It was good but for the price, should’ve been twice as much, easily.
Beers were very good. They were the main reason for stopping.

Food here is amazing. Can’t go wrong with the build your own Mac and cheese bowls. Beers are great too. Lots of options to include seltzers as well. My wife and I live an hour away from this brewery and we have made the trip twice so far for dinner. The owners were super friendly too. Great food, great drinks, awesome people. A must go-to place when you’re in Holly.

By FAR the best sandwich I have ever eaten in my life. We stopped in on a day trip and ordered the “Fight Club” smoked turkey w/ an absolutely incredible Oktoberfest beer. Kudos Battle Alley for the EPIC meal. I didn’t know Turkey could taste that good. We’ll drive 1 1/2 hours to come back again.

We visited Battle Alley Brewery in Holly, Michigan as out-of-towners, and our experience was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a welcoming vibe that made us feel right at home. The décor is fun and unique, with eye-catching murals and a lively atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxing or celebrating with friends.
The owners genuinely care about their guests and made a point to stop by our table to check in. The wait staff was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always ready with a great recommendation.
There’s a large assortment of beers, and we especially loved that their seltzers are homemade—the watermelon and blueberry flavors were so delicious and refreshing. Every dish we tried was excellent, but the ribs, soft pretzels, sweet potato fries, and fried Oreos were true standouts.
The combination of delicious food, amazing drinks, top-notch service, and a welcoming vibe made our visit unforgettable.
Highly recommend Battle Alley Brewery to anyone in the area or passing through Holly, MI!

This was our second visit to the restaurant. A friend of a friend mentioned how good it was in a casual conversation so we had to give it a try. Walking in, we loved “the feel” of the space. Very comfortable and inviting. In both instances, the staff was friendly and very attentive. They have a pretty good beer selection and I loved that they served cans of Coke with a glass of ice. I really enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich and fries. And the Barbecue sauce selection was also very good and tasty. It’s definitely a place we’ll visit again when we’re in the mood for barbecue!

Great beer, tried each IPA and enjoyed them all.

My wife got the build your own comfort combo thing and that was really good.

I got the Battle Burger and it was terrible. I like a sweet and savory dish but this was so insanely sweet that i couldn’t taste anything else, not the beef, not the tomatoes, not the bun or cheese, nothing but raw brown sugar, so much so that the texture of the burger I would describe as gritty and sand like. Donuts are not as sweet as this burger. You could halve the sugar and still have a very sweet burger.

I would go again but I wouldn’t go near that burger.

So I’m having a hard time with this review because I so badly wanted to like the place.. we like to support smaller family owned businesses. First I will say my sandwich was pretty good, very flavorful. My wife on the other hand, ordered a single smash burger, she doesn’t like lettuce, onion, tomato, etc.. so she noticed an olive tapenade, which coming from someone who likes olive burgers, she assumed that was basically what it was, a mayonnaise based olive burger.. nope, it had olives, green onion, tomatoes… basically everything she didn’t like. So my thought, if the waiter knew she didn’t like any of those, he would have asked “hey, this comes with x, y and z, would you still want that?” So he came by after and asked how everything was going, I told him why there was a pile of tapenade sitting there and he just said ok… and you guessed it, once the bill came, we were still charged for it.
And then my biggest complaint is the price structure. This is a brewery, not Ruth’s steak house. There’s no reason everything should be ala-carte. If you order a burger or sandwich, it should come with fries and you can upgrade to tots, or Mac or whatever.. and then I’ve never been to a brewery where we usually get a flight, and every drink was charged as almost a short beer price, it was $4 and $4.75 each small portion of beer for a flight! That’s absurd. Flights are typically $10-12 no matter where we go, not $16-18!
My guess, by the lack of amount of patrons on a Saturday night, we’re not the only ones who think pricing is a little outrageous.

So needless to say, unfortunately we won’t be back. Which is sad because we did enjoy the food. The Mac and Cheese that my wife got was pretty good she said. Which is sad why we’re torn on this review.

Cool local brewery with spacious inside and patio dining areas. Beers were solid, highly recommend the Take the Biscuit brown ale…it was excellent.

I ordered the Pork Rinds as an app which were . The Battle Burger was good but was too sweet for my tastes.
