Made reservations for Valentine’s Day. My wife and I ordered their Valentine’s Day special. It came with a soup, salad, main course and dessert. I had the lobster bisque, filet mignon with lobster tail, mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley, for dessert creme brulee. I am not much of a salad eater but it looked amazing. The quality of the food and the portions made it one of the best meals I’ve had at any restaurant. Service was great, there was live music playing that was nice while enjoying our meal. The chef walked by and asked how our meal was and we had a nice conversation and on the way out we bumped into an owner who asked us what we thought of our meal and was a very nice person who seemed interested and invested. My wife and I have been to restaurants along the water from Maine to Florida and I must say this was again one of the best meals we’ve had.

We enjoyed our first dinner at The Wharf tonight, and we will be back! The service was super friendly. They were a lot of fun, loved our dog, and were happy to serve us on their beautiful outdoor deck. What can be better than watching the sun go down over the bridge?
The food was truly wonderful. Our favorite was the chef’s special twist on hush puppies, and the poke bowl and blackened fish tacos were pretty special too.
Looking forward to our next visit!

Didn’t realize this spot had changed from SmacNally’s to The Wharf, but either way, we enjoyed a great dinner. The catch of the day was good along with the fried shrimp platter.

One of the best waterfront patio spaces at Holden Beach. It’s the perfect place to unwind, watch the boats and take in the sunset. Hoping they continue the live music lineup like they had last summer — it really adds to the atmosphere. Overall, a solid addition (or refresh!) to HB.

We stopped in for the first time yesterday. We had the early bird, soup and sandwich. The clam chowder was delicious. I had the spicy margarita. Delicious. Our bartender was Taylor. She was really the best. We had a great time. We’ll be back!

We asked for the shrimp platter to be prepared grilled and blackened instead of fried. The chef was able to do that for us and it was quite delicious! REALLY wish it could be added to the menu full time!! Also had the mango shrimp wrap which was also quite good! Homemade carrot cake for dessert was a delectable finish to our meal! Our server Jessica was wonderful! Great experience!

First time in Holden Beach with Mom and we had the most delicious late lunch at SmacNallys. Spicy margarita was perfect with great heat and flavor. We started with the crab dip which was one. of the best we have ever had. Mom had the shrimp wrap and I had the peel and eat shrimp. Great flavors and the service was excellent too. Can’t beat the views either. We will be back and if it’s not 100 degrees out as it was today we look forward to bringing the puppy and sitting on the deck.

Located right on the water, it offers beautiful views, a laid-back atmosphere, and some of the best fried seafood around. The portions are generous, the flavors are spot-on, and everything comes out hot and fresh.

The band was good. The drink from the outdoor bar tasted like a mocktail. The service was lackluster. Slow to take order, apps came with mains and were snatched off the table when something was said about it. The food was ok. My fries were warm. Hush puppies were good. They ran out of scallops at 4 pm but our server didn’t tell us and let the surprise unfold when the food arrived to the table. The bill arrived with the mandatory 20% tip for our larger party size. The management were nice. But they need to be more selective about who they hire or how they train.

This was our first time there and we’ll definitely be back. The crab cakes melt in your mouth. The hushpuppies were freshly made. The onion rings had the perfect amount of batter and crust (I’m super picky about my onion rings). The shrimp and scallop scampi was phenomenal. Our server was fantastic. If you haven’t visited yet, you’re missing out.10/10 would recommend
