Jackie Mae’s was excellent . My wife and I were visiting TN, we stopped her for a quick bite. We had the catfish. It was excellent along with the cornbread, Mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. Stop by if you’re in the area.

My baby loved his smothered pork chop. We enjoyed our green beans, potato salad, yams were amazing, and the pinto beans. Will be back! Owner greeted us and was super sweet, family friendly atmosphere.

The women that serviced me were extremely nice. The menu was straightforward, and when I let them know I was stopping by on my lunch break they rushed my food. If I’m in the area again I’ll definitely be stopping by again. 10/10 some of the best macaroni I’ve had from a restaurant.

WE FINALLY FOUND SOME SOUL FOOD! My husband and I finally made it to Jackie Mae’s after a few weeks of planning to go. The portions of our meals were huge and delicious (catfish, pork chops, Mac and cheese, green beans, cornbread, fried corn) Overall, the experience was great due to the meal, service, and live original music.

My best friend and I tried this restaurant today after church, and we are so glad we did. From start to finish, the hospitality was unmatched. Dyneshia was our server, and she took excellent care of us; her service alone would make me come back. I ordered the catfish fillets, purple hull peas, mac and cheese, and hot water cornbread. Everything was delicious, and I was not disappointed. I had read a few reviews mentioning issues with opening times, but they opened right at 12:00 PM as listed on Google, so if you’ve had trouble catching them open before, I’d recommend trying again. To top it all off, the owner came by and personally introduced herself. She was so warm and welcoming, and we’ll definitely be back soon.

After service on Sunday, my best friend and I kept our tradition alive—hunting for a new spot to satisfy our post-worship cravings. This time, we chose Jackie Mae’s, opening right at noon as listed on Google. And let me tell you—it did not disappoint.

From the moment we walked in, our server, Dyneshia, made the experience unforgettable. Her warmth, knowledge of the menu, and thoughtful recommendations made us feel right at home.

I ordered the fried fish, green beans, mac and cheese, purple hull peas (a standout favorite on my plate), and butter cookies. Every bite was seasoned with love. Even my leftover fried fish held its crispiness after a quick reheat in the microwave—a rare and delicious surprise.

To top it off, the VIP (tea + lemonade) was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, not too tart. Just right.

As we were leaving, Miss Jackie herself came out and greeted us. That personal touch sealed the deal—southern hospitality at its finest. We’re even considering coming back for open mic night on Thursdays.

Needless to say, we’ll be back very soon. Jackie Mae’s is more than food—it’s a feeling.

My husband and I are pleased! We’re southern foodies and know good soul food.

Before we entered, we were skeptical. Not because of the location; only because it hasn’t been promoted enough! The parking lot was clean, plenty of parking spaces, and a warm welcome upon entering the building from a sun kissed beauty who gave me allllll “rich auntie” vibes! Literally! She was the kindest and showed us the menu RIGHT THEN. She must have known we like to read the menu before even sitting down

Anyway, I ordered the baked chicken and husband ordered meatloaf with red sauce. We figured who could monk up chicken, even though he went with something else that was past my judgment. We both ordered yams and had pinto beans, cabbage and hot water cornbread. I’ll talk about dessert later. The chicken is wonderfully baked, seasoned and omg so soft falls off the bone. It ain’t that baked chicken drowned in Italian dressing mess! My husband ate allll of the meatloaf and it was a BIG portion, may I add. That speaks for his review. He said he’s too full to even try to attempt and write a review. The yams were great, I could taste the cinnamon and butter LAWD! If this was a dessert it’ll kill me because this is all I’ll eat! Pinto beans and cabbage didn’t even need hot sauce or ANYTHING! We just sopped our hot water cornbread in it and that was that! Fresh and Seasoned!

Now for the peach cobbler and banana pudding!!! Somebody back there know what their doing! My peach cobbler was hot, the way I like it served! As a matter of fact, our food came out piping hot HOW WE LIKE IT! One thing for sure, I always ALWAYS eat cobbler with icecream — it’s a must. This time I didn’t even bother. The banana pudding had bananas in it. That solves the banana pudding debate about no banana vs bananas. It came with a glorious swirl of whip cream. DELISH!!

Restaurant is clean, beautifully decorated, gives a home feel with the style of the split floor plan dining room and a cute paint job! Reasonably price for two!

We will be back! Oh yeah and what place you know offers the strawberry candy on your way out?! Church, grandma’s house or auntie’s hands!! We love it here already

OMG! Jackie Mae’s is a newly found jewel of Soul Food that will have you reminiscing of what Momma used to make but better. Jackie Mae’s is a spot where you can eat until your stomach begs you to stop. I personally ordered the Baked Chicken and Dressing, Collard Greens, Potato Salad and Cornbread w Sweet Tea. The variety of choices will have you returning for more to satisfy your hunger. I’m most Happy to meet Jackie Mae and her friendly and caring staff as well as her warm atmosphere with somber music that calms you while you devour whatever you ordered…..The US Army guys love your place……Thank-you!

I had purchase a to-go plate. I had love the southern hospitality fron the hostesses. Great food, and to be honest the corn muffins are not like my mother’s. They are not sweet like cake. Everything else has soul and love in the food. And only people who will understand that statement are food lovers.

What a wonderful place to visit it’s almost like you never had lost touch with a friend or family member. The two young ladies who are the hostess are wonderful! I highly recommend this place.

The menu is reasonable which is just a buffet. It goes up a dollar more to I believe $9.99 after a certain time frame.

The collard greens are exactly how my mother had cooked them. The collard greens have brought back wonderful childhood memories. The sauerkraut is full of flavor. The banana pudding is just perfect it’s not too sweet.
