I’ve only been to Bridget’s in Ambler twice thus far. I’m already jealous of the locals who get to call this their neighborhood spot. My only “complaint” is that I don’t live closer, or I’d be a regular!
The steak and fries cooked to perfection and tuna avocado app was delicious…. we got that both times but the calamari was the real surprise. The flavors were unique and fresh I think there was a hint of banana chip in the recipe it also had a little kick of spice extremely fresh!
The space is beautiful and open, especially the upstairs renovated bar with the black and white floor really classy, lighting perfect and the noise controlled so you can actually hear yourself… I am deaf in one year or so it drives me crazy when it’s too loud!
My boyfriend and I were greeted both times by Bridget herself… You can feel the camaraderie among the staff; everyone feels like they enjoy being there as it shows in their service.
Perfect romantic dinner or a girls’ /guys night out, it’s just a special place and they do big events as well I hear.

First time back in 8years and was hoping it would be better. The picture is their “steak frites” entree. If this is the best a restaurant can do they can’t really call themselves a real restaurant. Everyone at our table that got this was equally flabbergasted and wondered if we’d ordered a kids meal.
The service was also poor. Took 45 minutes to get bread / appetizers.
I rarely do bad reviews but this was unfortunately a total disappointment. You can make much better food at home.

The food is fair, but for the price point, there are definitely better options nearby—places like Blue Bell Inn or even something more upscale like The Capital Grille deliver more consistent flavor and value.
Our meals were fine but pretty bland, lacking the depth you’d expect from a steakhouse in this price range. The restaurant was also extremely noisy, especially with the bar area, which made it hard to have a conversation with others at the table.
That said, the servers were genuinely friendly and attentive, which helped the experience. Overall, it wasn’t bad—but for the money, there are stronger choices in the area.

Brought my wife for her birthday last night . This was our first time dining here … Will not be our last . The entire evening was exceptional ! The surf and turf dinner for 2 … Amazing !!! The filet ( sake shiitake sauce ) , broiled lobster tail , crab – shrimp- scallop (scampi style ), potatoes , and asparagus were cooked to perfection ! Our server Peter was knowledgeable and recommended a nice wine with our dinner. Ended the night with crème brûlée. Delicious ! We will definitely be back . Thank you Bridgets staff !

Love this little place great food,cool bar area lots of light from big windows tons of specials the scallops were killer. had a business meeting here it was the perfect setting. Walking around ambler there are some cool places to eat if you get a chance stop in here for a bite you will not regret it. Very well done restoration of a old building, color choices and lighting perfect. Start your night out here or finish it up either way this place will put you in a good mood.

I’ve been to Bridget’s Steakhouse in Ambler multiple times, and I can honestly say I’ve never been disappointed. Every visit delivers a warm, inviting atmosphere, consistently excellent food, and outstanding service.
One of my favorite dishes is the Au Poivre Cheesesteak — an elevated take on the classic, made with a blend of filet mignon, strip steak, and ribeye, along with mushrooms, caramelized onions, and pepper jack cheese, all finished with a rich au poivre sauce and served with their “Alley” fries. It’s phenomenal every time. The Dry-Aged steaks are always perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the Crab Fried Rice is a must-order — loaded with jumbo lump crab and incredibly satisfying.
What really sets this place apart, though, is how accommodating the staff always is. They truly go out of their way to make sure every guest has a great experience. The general manager, Bridget, is absolutely top notch — clearly passionate, hands-on, and committed to making sure everything runs smoothly and guests feel taken care of.
Between the food, service, and welcoming vibe, Bridget’s Steakhouse never misses. Whether it’s a special occasion or just a night out, this place always delivers. I’ll definitely be back many more times.

We went for a catered surprise birthday party for a very close friend. Never knew It was there! The food and service was fantastic! We plan to go back. It’s fairly pricey but worth it. You can smell the steaks cooking so you won’t have any trouble finding this place. We had a little trouble finding parking but after we spoke to the staff we know where to park. It’s worth the trip!

They accommodated us with a last minute reservation, and start to finish, an excellent meal! The 30 day dry agreed NY strip was literally like butter, not to mention the herb butter it came with to slather on.
