I don’t think I often give restaurants 5 stars. But, from the food, to the respectful waiter (Thomas), to the ambiance. Everything was perfect for our first visit here. This creates a return customer for sure!

Husband got the Pork Chop Special (Oak fire roasted) and I got the Lamb “Pops” appetizer (over a bed of spinach) with a Tres Pino House Salad for my meal.

Can’t wait to come back!

Devon was hands down the best server I’ve ever had—attentive, extremely polite, and genuinely excited about the food and the entire dining experience. His attention to detail and impeccable mannerisms stood out right away—he even made sure to serve the ladies first, which I really appreciated.

The food? Absolutely incredible. I had the filet mignon, and it was the best steak I’ve ever tasted—so tender, buttery, and soft it practically melted like tuna. This place is officially my new favorite steakhouse, and Devon’s service made it unforgettable. I’ll be coming back and asking for him every time!

I’ve been eating here for a long, long time. Figured it was due for a review. The Inn has never disappointed. All through The Pandemic, we got delivery, and it was such a bright spot. The food, drinks, and service are always fantastic.

Despite living in Hollister for nearly six years, this was our first experience with the Inn at Tres Pinos. I am just sad that we didn’t go sooner!

We enjoyed a cozy table for four with our neighbors. In addition to the great food, service, and atmosphere, we really had a good time visiting with one another. The time sure passed quickly!

The Inn at Tres Pinos is about 10 or so minutes south of Hollister on Hwy 25. Tres Pinos is very small. What is the saying? If you blink, you’ll miss it? Anyway, very refreshing to find a local, high-end restaurant where one would least expect. Area locals rave about this restaurant, and we found out why!

We started off with drinks (cocktails and wine) followed by two appetizers: one that was on the menu, Grilled Italian Sausage, and an appetizer on special, Risotto with a Grilled Tiger Prawn. The Grilled Italian Sausage was perfect atop a whole grain mustard cream with roasted red peppers. The Risotto and Tiger Prawn was equally as delicious (I forgot to get pics of each). I enjoyed a cup of New England Clam Chowder, and my neighbor enjoyed an Iceberg Lettuce Wedge with house vinaigrette.

My neighbor and I ordered the special Double-Bone-In Pork Chop atop Garlic Mashed Potatoes. All of this was topped with a sunny side up duck egg. The duck egg was a wonderful touch and delicious. By far, the best pork chop I’ve ever had. Very moist and tender, I was sad when it was gone! My wife ordered the Grilled Filet of Wild Salmon on a bed of Garlic Mashed Potatoes and my neighbor’s wife ordered the Filet Mignon atop wild rice.

We topped off our meals with shared Creme Brulee for each couple. Perfect cap to a perfect meal.

Our server was attentive but not obtrusive. Just the right mix of service. The restaurant ambience was rustic, cozy, and intimate.

We really enjoyed the experience. The food was fantastic and very nicely presented, our company was wonderful, and we will definitely be visiting again soon. Parking is “wherever you can find”. Be careful crossing Hwy 25 if you park across the street. Reservations are best. Next time, I’ll try the Chicken Genovese. Highly recommended!!

We stayed and ate at the Inn at Tres Pinos after hearing great reviews from a friend. We parked around back and went to the hobbit-like door. Inside is a beautifully maintained and decorated restaurant. The food is fresh and prepared to the highest degree as you would expect from a chef that worked Pebble Beach.

We absolutely loved this place! Each table had its own little fireplace and it just made the ambiance wonderful! Very kind and friendly staff. The meal was amazing! We had baked brie with cranberry chutney that was super delicious, a whole roasted chicken with vegetables, the best we’ve ever had! The salmon with leeks was also superb.

A great little tiny spot in the middle of nowhere, but for locals in the know, this place is the best in the area. It’s a true local gem.

Really innovative fresh-tasting cuisine offered up here that includes all the classics done really really well. Fresh ingredients, mostly locally sourced, are very much a part of every dish. If you lived nearby, this place would be hard not to stop every night. They are known for their calamari and lamb chops… both were exceptional.

Their outside dining space is perfect right now, and their service was really on point too.
