I tried the Golden Curry Protein Bowls and liked it. Ordering is unique here in that the bowls have standard ingredients and adding something is an additional cost. That cost was reasonable, in my opinion. The Curry Bowl was only $11.99 and the serving was generous. The great thing is, you can select from a nice variety.

I’d heard that their custom-made juice blends are exceptional. And they must be – all canisters where empty. I’ll try them next time.

When I arrived just before 5 PM on Wednesday, there was only one other customer; close to 6 PM, the place had filled up. In either case, there was ample parking, and they have a nice drive-through facility. You can also do curb-side pickup, but they do not deliver. Both his and her restrooms are provided. They are large and clean.

No problem for people with strollers or wheelchairs. The front store is at street level with no steps.

I went to pick up the order I placed and paid for. After waiting in the drive thru line, I say my name and the cashier says “Yeah, we have your order here, but you placed it online with Door Dash, so you actually have to come inside to get it”. I thought she was joking…I said, “Are you for real” and she was for real! -45 wind chill outside and because I placed my order through Door dash through Zupas for ME to pick up, I had to go inside. A courtesy warning would have been nice….

First time here and the service was amazing – it’s cafe style, order and they make it for you Then you seat yourself. The staff was friendly and helpful with the menu. Their Zupa sauce was really yummy!

Slightly smaller than the Riverdale location but, still jas the consistent quality of food. Brisket Grilled Cheese was even better with incredibly tender, smoky brisket. Very lean with no fatty pieces. Lobster Bisque had the same velvety texture although it could have used a bit more lobster. Ultimate Grilled Cheese was really upgraded by the addition of pesto and tomato which went sooo well with my Mushroom Bisque! Oh, BTW this Mushroom Bisque is so creamy and rich, the ONLY one we’ve had better was at a upper scale restaurant in Lanesboro. Still get the wonderful bread and chocolate dipped strawberry too. Such a nice touch for the end of a great meal. Nice job!

We wanted to check out this new place. Arrived mid afternoon and one person with 13 orders. From the start of her order to the end it was well handled. We just had to be patient as they made. The cashier listened as customer told how she wanted bagged. Our eat in order was prepared and many behind us. Kudos to the crew who put orders together. They moved quickly and precise. We ate in and if they had provided wipes for tables it would have been appreciated. Hope they will consider that as people sat down to dirty tables. We certainly will be back. Our red roasted lobster soup had a little bite, yum. The grilled pork & cheese as well as the turkey avocado sandwich excellent. Each came with roll/ chocolate covered strawberry.

We were craving soup, so we decided to come here and try one of basically all of them, and we were over all impressed! The golden curry, mushroom disque, and lobster bisque were the winners and the tomatoes basil, and the bread fell to the bottom of the list. The menu is great overall and definitely worth a stop for a lighter meal.

We are so excited this location opened up in Blaine! It’s like an upgraded version of Panera. Lots of really healthy and great options. We loved that this business decided to give out 50% off coupon and Friday free desert is a delight! Also loved the touch of chocolate covered strawberries with each entrée. Absolutely recommend!!

I have loved cafe zupas for years. They used to fill their salad bowls to the brim when you ordered a large salad. Now it feels like its around 30-40% less full than when a year or so ago. I order here lately, and I order at least once a week, often multiple times a week.

I’m just sad they are succumbing to pressure from middle management or upper management that is clearly telling them they need to reduce the ingredient volume to save a few cents so their shareholders can get a higher quarterly return.

Shrinkflation anyone?

If my salads return to anywhere near normal volume I’ll return and change my review to 5 stars.

Prepare for limited menu options if you dine 8pm or after and slow service as they are too busy tearing everything down for the night. First people in line waited about 5 minutes to place order. Asked if we wanted dine-in or to-go, we chose dine in and apparently not what she wanted to hear as she stated we close at 9pm, I pulled out my phone it was 8:15 so I gave her a puzzled look. Ordered chicken sandwich it was a premade piece of breaded chicken, probably frozen chicken patty, she grabbed and threw in air fryer. I tried to order chick pea soup but they were out, only broth soup besides chicken noodle. Ordered my chicken pesto on wheat, gal asked twice white or wheat but of course served on white bread. Went to check out and I had a coupon for 50% off dinner which I checked over many many times for expiration date never found it but of course it was only back in a very light size 4 font that could hardly read. I told the lead person this is my first time we only came in because of the coupon, if you could honor it that would be great, she refused. I asked what else can you do it’s taken me 15 minutes from order to checkout and you don’t have half your menu she said nothing. No other discounts or coupons? Nope. I asked for butter for roll, was told umm I think we are out but I’m sure it was just put away already. I paid the $30 for two meals, sat down and Lo and behold I checked in on yelp and there was a $5 discount; smh too late. Trying to eat and they are putting up chairs on tables, emptying drink dispensers, clinging pans around; it was very uncomfortable. The only positive was Paige who went and got me to go containers when I asked her as she walked by and as we left she told us to have a good night. Food was mediocre and I will not be back, not worth the money for limited menu and terrible service oh and really cold dinner buns, no thank you.

I usually really like this Zupas location, it’s super convenient when I order on the app and pickup through the drive through. My problem the last three times I’m gone has been the fact that I have ordered lasagna soup and mushroom soup and all three times there’s no noodles or meat, and no mushrooms ( just broth!) kinda disappointed :/
