I waited quite a long for the lentil soup at lunch time. I ordered that because I didn’t want to wait long. What I got was more like a vegetable soup. This is far from the lentil soups I’ve had at other Persian or Mediterranean restaurants. Two stars for the bland taste. It’s like a meal one would get at a hospital.

This was a good lunch! Gyro platter (open sandwich) is well worth the $12.

The flavor is excellent and I enjoyed the pita also. Good sauce. The dining area could use a facelift but it was ok. It was clean. The men’s restroom was barely usable but I can ignore that if everything else is clean – and it was.

Not a terrible Persian restaurant. Chicken was actually pretty good, the bread was freshly baked in a traditional oven. Beef koobideh and rice needs some improvement

The food was good overall. The rice is very flavorful. I preferred the lamb/steak to the chicken though, but that may just be a personal preference.

Came for a quick lunch on Rockville Pike. Ordered chicken kabob on Greek salad. Chicken was juicy and properly cooked and not overdone. Salad had lettuce, tomato, cucumber, feta and Kalamata olives (unpitted). Lunch was excellent. Pita bread is made right in the store using a traditional wood fired oven. Watching the bread maker provided for some entertainment … pretty cool process. Also pita was excellent. Service was fine.

A wonderful quaint restaurant centrally located near the North Bethesda Metro Station. They make their own bread which is an added touch.

Ordered the chicken kabob over rice, stick of beef, and backlava. It’s so underrated! I still can’t believe it was just around the corner this whole time!

The food is okay.
The best part is the bread that’s fresh made.
Super crispy better than other places in the area.
Soda machine tasted watery.

A Mediterranean restaurant could be judged on the bases of its hummus and falafel, so I just wanted to enjoy my lunch and stopped at this restaurant not to mention that I already had my sandwich for lunch but just wanted to have some nice falafel and hummus. I purchased exactly what I needed for to-go, but let me tell you the Falafel were soggy mushy And had no flavor , hummus was already pre-packed in the fridge and had a Tangy bad flavor and tahini sauce also didn’t had pleasant flavor.
