It is the restaurant of the the Riad Jardin des Biehn. Both cook and baker, produces an elegant menu with an accent on the Orient, somewhere between Moroccan tradition and the Mediterranean, using fresh local produce from the market and vegetables from the garden. The menu changes daily.

They welcomed us even if almost closed (too late) and served us a free appetizer with the order of 2 glasses pf wine.
It’s a pity that we couldn’t have dinner.
Thanks anyway!
There was a blackboard menu with three or so options for entree, main and desert. The food was good though I would have appreciated some greater options to meet my tastes. We had a good bottle of wine to accompany our meal. Service was attentive and professional.
All in all a nice place to eat. It is, however, a little more pricey than some other restaurants we tried in Morocco.
Don’t get me wrong. The place is gorgeous and serves alcohol! The (white) wine was really great. And maybe the other things on the menu might have been better but come on, you can’t get Tajine wrong in Morocco!
But the food was a big let down. The Chicken Tajine was dry, the chicken had no seasoning or flavor, and the cous cous was meh. This was my second night in Fes so I had already had probably the best Chicken Tajine already the previous night (Ouliya for the curious). I have added so much salt and spices to it yet it still is not great.
The service was also pretty lacking. I had been here at around 5pm and told that I don’t need to make a reservation. Then at 7:45, I walk in and am given a table inside and not where I would have preferred (apparently because there’s a reservation at 8pm). It’s empty till 8:30 when they finally give it to a random couple who just walked in.
You can see the dry and tasteless chicken and the empty table in the photos
Would recommend to have a drink rather then having a meal though.
Their menu varies regularly and everything we tried was delicious as well as their home made drinks.
