What can I say? It’s a non pretentious mini-mall Mexican restaurant. The food is authentic (as far as this “gringo” from Iowa can tell) delicious, fresh, and affordable. The service is nice and the atmosphere is casual, friendly, and clean but again, not pretentious. It feels like you’re getting a home cooked meal from a friend. My husband and I both had chicken enchiladas and he also had a steak taco a la carte, and they were so good we came back the next day to get the same thing. We’ve tried a lot of Mexican places and this rivals our favorite place in St Paul. We’d certainly end up as regulars if we lived here.

Being from California, I have very high standards for tacos and Mexican food! In Milwaukee it’s hard to find a place that tastes authentic and fresh, Las 7 Estrellas meets both those qualities and more. It’s a very clean, local spot with impeccable Mexican taste! I enjoyed my enchilada and sopes. The enchilada sauce tasted home made! It’s so rare to come by a place like this! Most places make a tomatoey enchilada sauce. This was real deal sauce! You can really taste the freshness of everything, even the horchata and salsas tasted in house made! Just look how beautiful the food looks! The beans look healthy and freshly smashed. Come try Las 7 Estrellas!

Supremely terrible. Save your money eat at Taco Bell. I ordered the esquites chilangos which was supposed to come with tortilla chips and chili. It did not come with those items. I also ordered the enchiladas, which were horrible and tasteless at the same time. I also ordered the pico de gallo. What I received instead was a can of chopped tomatoes. Not exaggerating. It was a styrofoam container with what looked like canned diced tomatoes. Tasted like canned tomatoes. No onion, no cilantro, no jalapeño. Just tomatoes. This restaurant is rated highly, not sure why. Complete waste of money.

Service was prompt and polite, we were one of three couples in the establishment, they had all been served, but it took awhile to get our food. Thats a good thing since they were making our food fresh. Chips scorched my mouth, and salsa was fresh. Entrees were average, rice was bland and beans had chunks in them.

So I originally found the food truck on Brady street one day. I came back again and they were gone! I finally found months later and SOOOO HAPPY!! Some of my favorite tacos and the service on the truck and in the restaurant is great. Wonderful and chill atmosphere
