We were really lucky to find this Halal Japanese restaurant (other than chicken gyoza everything is Halal). The shrimp shumai and miso soup felt unique (as I didn’t try Japanese food earlier). The chicken udon and the hibachi rice dishes were really delicious. I liked the hibachi grilled prawn and beef the most. I also tried the smoked salmon nigiri which was great. As dessert we tried the cheesecake tempura which again was amazing and unique. The server was very friendly and welcoming.

This is my fav spot to “treat myself” here in Indy. People mention it being pricey, but honestly, while it may be a bit more expensive than when you typically eat out, I find the amount of food you get to be totally worth it. Always have left overs. Best fried rice in town!!! I want to work here just to learn the fried rice recipe Hibachi options are all fantastic. Sushi is also great. They always accommodate my requests of swapping things in sushi too (yes, I am one of those add this/swap that type of people & they never judge me and my sushi always comes exactly how I like it!).
The staff across the board are so sweet and helpful. You will be greeted and taken care of. The chef’s will all give you a smile and hello as well. Good jokes. They’ll get you sauce to go or anything you need to make the leftovers good at home too.
Great natural lighting! I love taking my iPad to draw while I wait for my food. Highly recommend!!

Food is incredible. Would be even better if they had a bit of a remodel or just more space, but we thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back anytime we’re in town. Forgot to take a pic before I started, haha.

Me and my now Husband ate here after we had a small marriage ceremony downtown in Indianapolis. We stopped here to eat! I’ve seen this place for a while and never had a chance to stop in until yesterday. It was absolutely amazing! The food, the customers service and the atmosphere was better than a star restaurant! Pls don’t sleep on this hidden Gem! This place is my go to for Comfortable food!

Pretty solid for a quick Japanese lunch or dinner. It’s not fancy, and not the best Japanese I’ve ever had, but they have some great options on the menu at a reasonable price.
The Hibachi is where it’s at. We also tried the Yakasoba and the Udon noodles – both were good, but the portions were on the smallish side.
Service was on point, and parking wasn’t too hard to find on some side streets.

Love the food and it’s priced very reasonable. The staff is the best , always awesome. Best value for your money in the downtown area plus the food is delicious. Hibachi lunch specials are the go-to lunch time but they also have filet mignon/ fried rice special, 16$ worth every bit.
