Went for an early dinner at the buffet with my family of 11. We had reservations for 4pm, there was no wait and it was very quiet in there. The buffet was nice and clean, the food was overall very good with a great selection from the carving station, diverse salad bar, seafood, barbecue, pastas and desserts. The cheesecake was under cooked and macarons were over cooked but all in all we enjoyed the food. The ambiance is lovely, it was very cozy and welcoming with the holiday decorations and warmth of the fireplace. Our children ate free which was nice. The server was so friendly and attentive.

We love this place, it has a ton of offerings and they are all great. We have only been for lunch but for $19, the buffet is a great deal, a lot of different foods to satisfy almost any cravings. The salad bar is the best, with soups and so many toppings the only thing that might make it better is a baked potato bar. If you loved General Picketts buffet in town and ypu remember the old Boyds Bear you will love this venue , can’t wait until they get the hotel up and running so we can stay, great memories have been made and will continue to be made there.

This is a fantastic place to take large groups or just go as a couple. Food is good and a nice variety, Salads are always quite fresh. You can have drinks from the bar. Even if the place looks packed you can usually be seated quickly. It’s become a goto for my partner and I and friends, especially when Gettysburg restaurants are packed with 1 hr waits. Get there at sunset and you will enjoy a beautiful view from the huge windows across the back of the restaurants.

This is the favorite place we’ve eaten while on a tour. It’s unique, beautiful and so yummy! The salad bar is incredible and fresh! There are so many choices on the buffet! Highly recommend the soups too!

I was skeptical when General Pickett’s announced their relocation, but I was pleasantly surprised. This place is fabulous, and I love everything about it, especially the food. They still have the buffet and they still have the gift shop. They added an arcade (with Ms. PacMan, I’ll have you know) and they even have escalators.

Have never been here before but love breakfast buffets so found this one online and thought , let’s try it ! Drove almost an hour to get here . Pulled into parking lot and there was a max of 5 cars in the parking lot . Figured maybe there was parking elsewhere so we walked in . Went down stairs to restaurant and got seated right away . Only 3 other tables had people . Should have been a sign right there . Waitress was pleasant . We went to get food and walked into a huge buffet area only to see a very very very small area for breakfast . Bar had French toast sticks ( from a box ) REALLY ! ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW !!!! so I get pancakes and a few other things and head back to my table . By the time we started to eat our food was already getting cold . It was so cold in the room , I had to put my coat back on .
The food selection was not impressive at all . The best thing I had to eat was yogurt and granola ! That’s very sad . My pancakes we so thin I think they were trying to make crepes . And they were crunchy . Pancakes are not to be crunchy and I didn’t was frozen boxed french toast sticks . And then I heard a man ask about omelets , the man said they only make omelets on Sunday !!!! They need more of a selection and better food .
And bill was almost 40.00 ! Mcdonalds can do better this !

Sadly, I had a terrible experience here. The food was either dry or too watery. The food and the service were relatively lackluster. I immediately lost my appetite after a bite of the pasta I got. The taste was so horrific that I couldn’t eat anything else that I got. I came with two of my friends, and the bill would have came out to around 60 dollars. My friends and I didn’t believe that it was worth paying that price for mediocre food and service. We were able to get half off the bill. Let’s say we aren’t coming back here again.

Food, fried shrimp, oysters and clams cold and fried too long. Oysters, not fresh, frozen pre-breaded in a bag is what they tasted like, no oyster in them, just oyster flavored batter. Steamed Shrimp, done to long and then laid in pan to long as the fried stuff, tough! Crab Legs, get them off the bottom of pan, on top cold and soggy! Prime Rib, I enjoyed, Ribs were ok. Maple Bourbon Bread Pudding was good. However, you’ll not get me back there for $65.00 per person. Lastly, everyone very friendly however, wait staff gets lost easy, were not that busy while we were there on a Friday night, so should not have had to go look for someone for refills, napkins, check and even to pay my bill. Had to go out to Hostess stand near escalator to try to pay bill and the young lady kindly went to a back room off the kitchen to get our waitress.

Place looks nice. Waitress took good care of us. Food looks amazing to look at on buffet, but YUCK. “Hot” foods weren’t even warm. Foods to be cold tasted room temperature and not cold. One plate and didn’t finish it was enough for me. Price was high for gross food. My 4 year old wouldn’t eat anything and only took a bite of her pizza and was done. Wouldn’t even eat dessert.
