The experience at Toro, located right next to the TPC Clubhouse, was superb. We were staying at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess and appreciated the convenience of the free Toro shuttle to reach the restaurant—it’s too far to walk, but the ride is short and pleasant.

On a perfect, cloudless day, we chose the patio. The shaded outdoor seating offers one of the best views in the Valley, overlooking the immaculate golf course. The atmosphere alone merits five stars!

For lunch, we thoroughly enjoyed a delicious and fresh sushi platter. It was clear the quality of preparation is top-notch.

I must also mention the unique private dining options. I saw the Chef’s Table, a beautiful large round table near the host stand that comfortably seats up to fifteen people. My family is already hoping to reserve this space for a Christmas dinner next month—it looks like a fantastic spot for a large celebration.

Toro is an exceptional dining choice, perfectly blending world-class views with culinary excellence. We couldn’t have asked for a better weekday experience.

Been going to this restaurant for a while and it never disappoints me. The atmosphere is modern and very chic. This restaurant exceeded all expectations. The food is always rich in flavor, the drinks are crafted to perfection, and the desserts are unforgettable.

Just to mention that we went for thanksgiving dinner and everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The entire experience felt thoughtful and refined. A true gem that I can’t wait to return. Please also try the La Bomba desert its absolutely delicious

Brent was a phenomenal server and educated us on the entire menu. We asked several questions and he lead us through all of it confidently. The food was amazing. Every dish was a fresh and unique take. This was the perfect way to end the evening. We will definitely be back. Thank you Toro and all the staff for this incredible experience!

This is a nice restaurant in the Princess Fairmont in Scottsdale. It is adjacent to the golf course and many to the golfers dine there

Such a beautiful location about a mile from The Princess. We loved there was a shuttle option. Service was absolutely top notch. Atmosphere and vibes were 5 star! The food I was hoping to be more than it was. We were in a group and had a set menu (wonderful options). However be aware in a group setting and you are wanting the steak option, it will only be prepared to medium for “accuracy and speed”. As a rare steak eater that would not work and I then chose the chicken (which was delicious). My mother got the steak and it was so well done it could not be eaten. The appetizers and salad we had prior to the meal was fantastic. The watermelon, tomato and burrata salad was out of this world and I actually tried to recreate at home. Strawberry margaritas were consumed and also wonderful. Would just have loved main courses to have been executed. Would definitely visit again!

Absolutely loved this restaurant. The angry tuna sushi was fantastic, as well as the pulled pork tacos. The drinks were also phenomenal.

Toro at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is a vibrant escape where bold flavors meet stunning scenery. The patio overlooks the TPC golf course, and at sunset, the view is pure magic warm light, desert breeze, and a setting that feels like a celebration in itself.

Dinner began with fresh oysters and sushi rolls, both executed with finesse. The oysters were briny and bright, kissed with citrus and just the right chill. The sushi rolls followed clean, balanced, and plated with precision. It was the kind of start that sets the tone for a memorable evening.

The Latin-Asian fusion menu is confident and creative. The ceviche is punchy and refreshing, the Churrasco & Eggs delivers savory depth, and the short rib tacos absolutely stole the show rich, tender, and layered with flavor that lingers. Even the salads get a unique spin, with bold dressings and textures that surprise.

Mocktails are a standout. Thoughtfully mixed and beautifully presented, they’re proof that non-alcoholic doesn’t mean second-best. Each sip felt intentional, refreshing, and perfectly paired with the meal.

Service was warm and attentive, with staff who genuinely seemed excited to guide us through the menu. The vibe is relaxed yet celebratory, ideal for a milestone moment, a romantic evening, or just a night when you want to treat yourself.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Experience

We had an incredible dinner. Kathryn was an amazing server—attentive, friendly, and on top of everything.

A special shout-out as well to Darby, who checked in on us and added a personal touch that elevated the entire evening. It’s rare to see leadership so present and genuinely invested in the guest experience.

The food was fantastic: Wendy’s sushi rolls were fresh and perfectly made, the steak tartare and rock shrimp were standout starters, and the New York strip with chimichurri was cooked exactly right. We ended with the La Bamba dessert, which was the perfect finish.

We’ll definitely be back!

Everything tasted very good. Our meal was correct and everything came out hot. I just felt like the food wasn’t very original or interesting. Our cocktails were delicious and food turned out good! Just felt expensive for the lunch that we had.
I wish I had tried the sushi because looked pretty good.
