Stop by for lunch today and was extremely delighted to find the best Neapolitan pizza I have had in a long time. This area of North Jersey has incredible pizza all over and Emilios is the only one that I know that is banging out thin chewy wood-fired oven
traditional pizza from Naples. Cooked quick in their 800 degree oven.
I have to go back and try more!!!

Hands down one of the best pizzas my boyfriend and I have ever had (and trust me we are foodies). Everyone is so friendly and service was great. We started with the phyllis salad which was great and got the fra divalo and Margherita pizza. Both were out of this world and beyond delicious. We also had to split the tiramisu which was to die for. We got into a conversation with the owner and staff about the restaurants history. Such a beautiful story and family dynamic. Will definitely be coming back.

Emilio’s is a true community gem. It’s a family-run spot, and you can feel it right away – everyone in the family is working together, which adds a nice personal touch to the whole experience. There’s a warm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to come back.

The pizzas are very good, with a creative selection that goes beyond the usual options. They’re a little larger than your typical Neapolitan style, which means the crust edges can be tricky to pick up without flopping over – but the flavors and quality more than make up for it. The toppings are fresh, and the combinations are well thought out.

We also tried the meatballs, which were good. The meat was of good quality, and the sauce was rich and flavorful.

Came here for the first time with my husband for dinner and absolutely loved it! The pizza was delicious – light, flavorful, and perfectly made. Service was fast and incredibly attentive; our pizzas arrived just a few minutes after ordering. The place itself is cozy and inviting. We had the Hot Julia and the special of the day, and both were fantastic. We’ll definitely be back!

It’s a small restaurant but the food and service is excellent . Had the chicken wings which are made in the pizza oven – superb (not the frozen fried types) the pizzas also very good . They make both the bar pie and the napolitana . Such small restaurants should be supported and encouraged.

I went to Emilio’s Wood Fire Pizza right after a Pokémon Go event, and the experience was amazing from the start. I was welcomed as soon as I walked in and seated right away. We ordered two pies a pepperoni and a cheese and both were fresh, hot, and delicious. The owner’s mom even came over, told us she also plays Pokémon Go, and gave us some cute little Pokémon magnets, which made the visit extra special. The restaurant has a very welcoming, family friendly atmosphere, and it’s definitely kid-friendly with fun touches like the magnets. I’ll be coming back soon to try the wings, like I promised them!

Emilio’s is great every time. I’ve been here a number of times and the food is always quality. The only slight issue is that the pizza dough was a bit undercooked last time we were there. The crust was not as airy as it usually is. The last time, it was a bit too chewy and looked like it didn’t rise the way it should have. Otherwise, the shrimp app was excellent, and the tiramisu was on point.

Let’s get this out of the way: this is the best pizza I’ve tried in the NY metro area!
The dough was perfect—thin but sturdy enough to hold the mozzarella and tomato sauce, with just the right amount of chewiness. The balance between the cheese and tomato sauce was spot on. Now I truly understand what people mean by “love at first bite”!

Everyone was friendly and genuinely happy to see us enjoy our food.

The price is great, making it easy to come back often, and it’s well justified by the quality. Dinner for two—two drinks (BYOB, by the way), one appetizer, two pizzas, and a dessert—came to just $66, which is very reasonable in these crazy times.

This is officially my go-to pizza spot—a true hidden gem!

If you like Manhattan pizza then you will love this quant, clean, moderately upscale place. The magic of wood fire is that you go from raw dough to cooked pizza in 3 minutes due to the high heat. Pretty cool huh. As promised, pizza was fully cooked with a light and airy dough taste. I had the Margaritta, and it hit the spot with no heaviness on my stomach, as with other pizzas. Sometimes it’s hard to find a pizza spot you like, but I’d definately come back to this place. I would recommend more options on the menu. Maybe different size pizzas or slice pizzas. That’s up to the owner to decide. Thumbs up here!!!

We had 2 pizzas, they were delicious, a little overdone for my personal taste, but the sauce and the cheese were very good. The place is small so they had the backdoor open for ventilation, that doesn’t work on a windy day, we had to wear our jackets. They ask you to be considerate and try to stay 75 minutes per table. Not sure if that includes the 15 minutes it took to get the food.
We found out they sell a sourdough baguette that is impressive, delicious and excellent.
