5 stars all the way for Ranchito Mexican & Salvadorian Food in Morgan Hill! This place is a hidden gem blending authentic Mexican and El Salvadoran dishes with so much flavor and freshness.
We tried the pupusas (absolute must—thin, perfectly griddled, and stuffed just right) and the California Burrito that were packed with bold, seasoned goodness. Everything tasted homemade and came out hot with beautiful presentation. Portions are generous, and the prices are super reasonable for the quality.
The spot is clean, cozy, and quaint—felt welcoming right away. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything was perfect. It’s clear they take pride in their food and service.
If you’re in Morgan Hill and craving real-deal pupusas, burritos, huarache, or tortas, this is the spot. We’ll definitely be back soon—highly recommend!

I came in here to try the pupusa! I ended up ordering a few different things to try….Sopa’s and Birria Taco. Everything was so fresh! I tried every sauce. They range from mild to very spicy! My favorite was the very spicy sauce!
The consume was very flavorful and the meat in my taco was delicious. Bean and cheese and Jalapeño cheese pupusa’s were tasty. I will definitely be making this a regular place to take my family and friends. Also seriously the service was top notch and very friendly! Thank you!

I will be back! Had two different Pupisas that were fantastic and a Birra taco that was lights out! Wish I had ordered two of The Birra tacos, but after inhaled that, and the two pupisas, finished with a TopoChico, fully satisfied. Flavors were great, nice salsa bar also! Very authentic and clean. Also serve breakfast so will be back to try that too. Off the wall, next to Verizon. Sign is Morgan Griil. Must try, highly recommend!

Got the loroco and revuelta pupusas. The loroco had a nice cheese crust around it.
Very good pupusas, but in my opinion the accompaniments are the star of the show. They have a salsa bar that has pickled vegetables. I could eat a bucket of the cabbage slaw they serve with the pupusas, it’s perfectly crisp and tangy.

I tried ordering one quesabirria quesadilla and the cashier laughed at me, so I ordered two. BEST DECISION EVER. I was so hungry and this was the best food ever.
2nd time: I got the birria pupusa which was ALSO SO GOOD. AMAZING mwah.

Tip: It says “Morgan Grill” on the outside (we had trouble finding it). Little counter-service place with above-average food and friendly service. Sadly they were out of plantains but we had the carne asada plate and a pupusa and they were very tasty. There was an actual grilled jalapeño on my plate !!! and the salsa burned. Would go back.

Excellent Central American food. The tacos were perfect. The platanos were devoured. Our family loves finding Central American places in road trips.

I called them to place an order and the lady on the phone couldn’t explain what they put inside the burrito or tacos. There is a major language barrier, however she did manage to list unusual ingredients that go inside the burrito but their website lists completely different ingredients. I was looking forward to trying this place since it’s so close to home but I can’t even place an order properly. Hope they can fix this for the future.
