I’ve always enjoyed going to this Popeyes location since it’s just a 5-minute drive from my house. Tonight, my husband and I decided to stop by and order some fresh chicken. I requested that the chicken be fresh, and both the staff and the manager assured me that the chicken at Popeyes is always fresh.
Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t as great as expected. The manager’s response seemed dismissive, with a slightly sarcastic tone, which I didn’t appreciate. When we got home, we were very disappointed. The fries were old, and even the Sprite didn’t taste right, as it was clear the syrup had run out. To make matters worse, the chicken tasted like it had been sitting around for a while—it was far from fresh. This was around 9 PM, near closing time, but I believe it’s still important to check that everything is in good condition, especially when the store isn’t busy.
While I’m still willing to give them another chance because the location is so convenient for me, I do hope the staff, especially the manager, will improve their customer service and pay more attention to the quality of what’s being served.

Stopped by the Popeyes in Falls Church and tried the 12-piece boneless wings. The ghost pepper flavor was the highlight: crispy and with just the right level of heat. Definitely one of the better flavor options on the menu. The lemonade, on the other hand, was just okay—refreshing but nothing special. Service was efficient and the dining tables were clean.

1 star for service. The lady who took my order didn’t understand English at all. I had to point at the window then the menu screen to make one order.
Im not expecting a conversation, all I wanted is for her to understand me ordering and popeyes menu (Where she works). Also my tenders were on the room temperature.

This store closes at 11, we came in at 9:45 and they didn’t even have any more biscuits, they replaced it with coleslaw for our order. And then when we sat down to eat and took our food out of the bags we were told we had to leave because they were cleaning. This was at 9:55, they still had over and hour to go before closing. This Popeyes needs to hire and entire new staff, I have never seen a Popeyes not have biscuits, this location should be closed down. 0/5 stars

This is the only Popeyes I’ve eaten that knows what spicy dark meat is supposed to taste like. I’ve been to many different Popeyes and the other than NY this place nailed it. Fresh and hot and surprisingly it didn’t leave that nasty old grease taste afterwards.

11/6/25- One star was required otherwise there would be none! Ordered delivery. Worst coleslaw I’ve ever tasted at any popeyes. Management should try it themselves. Soggy chicken sandwich (never had soggy chicken at any popeyes EVER) with a bun that looked as if they sat on it first. Cold as heck mashed potatoes and had the nerve to charge for a sauce they never gave!!! The entire order went directly in the trash!!! Absolute waste of my time and money. First and definately last visit. Management should be ashamed!!!

Many Popeyes locations take forever to get my order ready. This place ALWAYS has it ready as soon as I arrive. The staff are also super friendly and always hook it up with the sauce.
