I love Mediterranean food and this place does not disappoint. I love the staff. They make you feel at home. The food is authentic and very delicious. I highly recommend the shawarma. I’ll definitely be back for more.

Had few appetizers along with friends. Staff are friendly and really made us feel so comfortable. Food is really worth try. The location is pretty much one the reason to pick up this place.

I’ve been coming here for over 20 years! If you like mediterrian food, you’ll love this spot! Best Lebanese food flat out in Cleveland!!! And I don’t care what nobody say!!! They have the BEST fatoosh salad in ohio!!! I’ve had it many places and there’s is the all-time best! Tabooli is extremely good, too! Everything is good lol. The only thing i don’t like is the parking situation…
It’s hard to find a spot when it’s crowded in the area. Gotta tryem!!

This was an excellent change of pace for two people in town from Alabama for the NCAA tournament. We found out about Nate’s by online reviews. It was DELICIOUS!!! We had beef shawarma and baba ghanoush plus fattoush salad(recommended as a specialty of the house by our server) the server was so good we figure she must’ve been the owner or a family member of the owner—passionate and willing to share and teach us. It was so good!!! We would go back again and again. The atmosphere was humble and cozy. This place is about the food and the people.

I feel bad writing reviews like this with establishments that have been around so long but this is how it goes. I brought my 90-year old mother here over the holidays from out of town for lunch. She had the shish kabob and I had the lamb platter. We both shared a salad. The ONLY thing edible was the salad! BOTH the so called Mediterranean dishes that was supposed to be from the famous Nate‘s were HORRIBLE!
I must say Cleveland if this is the best you can do and my mother came from Long Island NY, pack up and give it up to cities like Detroit, Chicago, Pittsburgh & Buffalo as far the culinary scene because this was terrible!!! All we were looking for was a famous deli type restaurant. SWING & A MISS!

Soooo good!!! We ordered the hummus with pita and the combo platter (skewer of lamb, chicken,Kafka with salad and rice) came with a side of “garlic sauce” which was AMAZING! We were just roadtripping through and wanted to stop for lunch. Please go here! You will be happy you did!

Ordered two shawarma plate, on the menu it said *lean strips of beef* sauteed, we received literally ground beef. I was very disappointed in the quality. It was just 95% ground beef and the meat was overwhelming in proportion to the tomato and onion. It’s not at all the same to eat a pound of ground beef as compared to sliced beef. Honestly for that reason I wouldn’t ever go back, I was highly disappointed in the restaurant and its experience. Also it’s was way too loud, kinda overwhelming during lunch hours.

After getting coffee at the index cafe I decided to come in to get halal food. The service was alright but this has to be the worst kafta I had, and the rice wasn’t much better (tasted like boxed pilaf). It’s very thin and the taste sort of misses the mark. I’m not sure if that’s just Lebanese style but either way I wouldn’t recommend getting it, especially for $20, and for having a salad with a base of iceburg lettuce.

Order a large gyro and it looked horrible! Small and it looked like they just microwaved it. I called and told them about the sandwich and they said people like it like that. The worst thing was I was buying it for someone else. They didn’t even want it,so I gave it to the bum on the street. (And he threw it away)
