We decided to grab a pizza from Sexton Pizza, just a few doors down from their Burger Bar, to take home for dinner later—and it was just as impressive. We ordered the thick crust, and it was absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly cooked, and the toppings were plentiful and flavorful.
Great food, amazing service, and a fantastic overall experience. We will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends and will absolutely be back again.

This one was pretty straightforward.
Atmosphere is what you would expect out of a new York style pizza shop. Smaller, slightly dated, and “dingy” but not gross by any means. It’s exactly what I would have expected for what it is.
Service was good and the cashier was friendly and helpful. All smiles and didn’t seem to hate her job which was nice. Even accommodated half/half pizza for the kids.
For food we got the ny style pizza and picked the Smokey Robinson, half no jalapeños for the little ones. The pizza was fresh, hot, and hate a good crunch. Just good classic pizza that I would eat over and over again.
We also got the garlic knots which were tasty and the marinara sauce was well seasoned. The knots were soft and warm with good flavor. Though I think they forgot about them and brought the pizza out then finally brought the knots which I would have liked to have it together or the knots first it’s not a bad enough mistake to impact me returning.

Stopped in to Sexton’s later in the night and was impressed by the speed in which we got our food on a busy Friday night. We brought our 1 year old son with us, and the staff were helpful and accommodating.
The pizza was delicious and some of the best crust we have had around Columbus. Definitely a place to visit if you consider yourself a pizza lover. The quality of the pizza made the price well worth it.
Sexton’s is on my list of recommended pizza places in Columbus.

The pizza is good, the crust has a great flavor. The 3 star review is because the menu has become way too limited. We always loved the skillet knots among other items and tonight it’s only got a handful of specialty pizzas and a couple salads. We were also charged $2.75 for a cup to get water from the fountain. First time I’ve ever been charged for water. Several tables were dirty and the place was empty. Also, please turn the tv down a little, wow! It was so loud you could barely talk. On a positive note, the young man working was so so nice and spoke to everyone very nicely.

This place is a complete clown show. This is now the second time Sextons has dropped the ball on an online order. When Sextons actually fulfills their part of the deal and provides the goods, it is a nice pie. Completely done with prepaying premium pieces to roll the dice on if the order is ever fulfilled.

Must of been a bad night at the Gahanna location or this location is just not up to par with the other locations.
I ordered two pizzas, one pep and one cheese.
When they arrived they looked as if they were made the day before and sat out overnight. There was next to no sauce on the pies. Only a couple of us even tried to eat a piece as another friend had ordered Borgata and most went straight for a piece of that after looking at the Sextons pie. Eating it was difficult as it was like biting a piece of cardboard with cheese on it…as I said there was next to no sauce if any at all in the pies.
I’ve had Sextons several times before and had thought it was the best around….unfortunately at $25 a pie I won’t nor anyone that was here will take the chance of receiving a product like this again. Sorry Sextons, your pizza is going in the garbage and you just lost several customers and Borgata has gained some new fans. Very disappointed.

Our family loves pizza and follow Dave Portnoy, found this place because of him and disagree with his 8.1…….it’s definitely higher, more like an 8.3-8.5! This place is awesome, LOVE the crunch on every bite, the cheese isn’t greasy, and the pepperonis are perfect. We are going to make this place a weekly visit. All the staff was super friendly and the pizza came out fast. We always dine in, and the place had great music also. They even gave our kids cookies after we were done. Can’t recommend this place enough. I’m already looking forward to our next pizza. The wife enjoyed the draft beer….forgot to ask if they fill growlers.

First time trying this after hearing reviews. We went with NY old style Pepp and cheese and then a white pizza with chicken and Parmesan . Both very good. Yes they are charred so if you don’t like crispy pizza it won’t be for you. I however love a good charred pizza top and bottom. Tasted great. Wish I could have tried more of the specialty pizzas. lol
