I haven’t been here since Mimi owned ot, so I thought I would give it a shot. It’s still similar, just a little different. I would have liked to have more flavor in the fried rice. The hot and sour soup was light and flavorful. The General Tso’s chicken was just as it’s always been, crunchy and delicious. Service was prompt and polite. Best Chinese food in the greater Baker/Zachary area.

We went here to eat often when we lived in Zachary. Now when we return to visit family we try to eat here. It is still as good as I recall the first time we went so many years ago. The flaming pu pu plater is our all time favorite starter. I had the orange chicken special last time, but also like the garlic shrimp. Atmosphere and service are top notch.
2026: We tried this again and it was still fantastic. The owner was very nice and spent a lot of time in conversation with the customers. It was new years day and so there were only a few people eating at this time.

Had a wonderful Sunday dinner after church at the Asian Pearl! The hot and sour soup is the best I’ve ever tasted. Both my husband and I had delicious entrees that were beautifully presented. And our server, Echo, was personable and fun as well as great at taking care of us. Thanks Asian Pearl, for a great dining experience!

We were greeted very warmly and seated. The place was 1/3 full on a Wednesday evening.
Drinks came quickly, we ordered both egg drop and hot and sour soup, both delicious. Then shrimp toast, I liked it but my wife thought it was too greasy. Lastly steamed dumplings, very tasty with a flavorful filling. We would definitely come back.

This is one of the calmest and most welcoming restaurants ever, the staff is very friendly. They give you large portions for a great price, as opposed to paying a lot for a tiny bit of food. Also, most importantly the food is DELICIOUS. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
