Social Profile:

Enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner at this authentic 1950’s diner-style restaurant, complete with a soda fountain and an open kitchen. Recently renovated, it resembles the restaurant when it originally opened at the historic Jackson Lake Lodge in 1955. Our claim to fame? The longest continual dining counter in the U.S. (And our renowned huckleberry milkshakes!) Stop in for breakfast before heading out to explore Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, then join us for a casual dinner after a long day of adventuring. Try some of our guest favorites, like huckleberry pancakes, grilled trout, bison burgers, juicy ribeye, and of course, as mentioned, our huckleberry milkshakes!

Hearty American meals are available at this 1950s spot with a soda fountain & deli-style eats.

We waited over an hour for our order at Pioneer Grill. The waitress seemed like she wasn’t really paying attention, and every other table was served faster than ours. Very disappointing service.

I have been going to the Pioneer Grill since I was a kid and I still think it is a great place to eat in the park for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Clean, quick and friendly service and good food! The bison burger and huckleberry milkshake is a classic combo and there are plenty of other options to choose from on the menu (more so than any other restaurant in the park). Plenty of cool 1950s diner-style counter seating, but please note that you will likely sit next to others along the counter.

This place is great! The food is excellent, the fries are the best! The service is quick and they are friendly. The taco salad is real good. The Teton dessert is absolutely cute!

Good variety of burgers, sandwiches, salads, soups, and desserts. We were disappointed that the marinated chicken was sold out within 45 minutes of the restaurant opening, but everything else was in stock. The prices are okay and comparable to most other restaurants within the parks.

Pictured are scoops of ice cream and the Taco Salad which was amazing!

Had both dinner and breakfast here, and also tried the restaurant right next door for comparison. Gotta say I liked Pioneer Grill way more. The food just hit better, even though the two spots serve different styles and are clearly going for different vibes.

No reservation needed at Pioneer Grill, which is a plus. The place next door is supposed to have a better view of the Tetons, but honestly, you don’t really see much from inside anyway. You’re better off grabbing a solid meal at Pioneer and then taking a walk outside to actually enjoy the view. Totally worth it!

A unique restaurant located in the lodge. Square shape marble table with bar high chairs. Waiters in the middle of space to serve customers. The atmosphere is welcoming. Food is ok. I love the wrap that I ordered. Fresh and healthy material. Good to try.

This is the BEST breakfast in the area. The food is delicious, hot, and the service is amazing. Bella was our server each time we went and she was just the best!

We were very impressed with the Pioneer Grill. We were there the last day of season for lunch so they did not have any French fries available but everything else on the menu was. We had two orders of the chicken quesadillas with fruit and a kids chicken tender with homemade potato chips and ranch dip. Everything was delicious and the portions were big! The prices were good too. We would definitely come back!

It’s an OK experienckek okhere, sitting at a mass-serve table. All thr meat is pre-cooked so you can’t even get a proper medium rare. Food didn’t take too long and servers were trying to do the best they could in their little section. Views in the lobby are spectacular, tho!

Went there for lunch. We got two burgers with sides of fries and cole slaw. The two sides were pretty good. The burgers were pretty dry, both the patties and buns. I’m glad I didn’t get the double burger. The server was pretty nice and attentive. We did like the old diner style decor.
