The hot chicken stir fry isn’t as good as it used to be. It used to be more dry and smoky flavor. Then after I talked my partner with alpha gal into trying it, I find unnecessary pork in the rice. Also the crab rangoons are great but don’t automatically come with sweet and sour sauce which is frustrating to try to remember before you leave without it.

We’ve been regular customers at Lucy’s for a long time, and we’ve always enjoyed stopping in. Unfortunately, our most recent visit was really disappointing. The prices have gone up significantly—a full-size combo meal is now $14 and even the kids meal is $8. For what you get, the value just isn’t there anymore. The food hasn’t changed, but the cost has, and it no longer feels worth the price they’re charging. Sad to say, but we’ll be rethinking future visits.

From my cashew chicken trail series of reviews.
I’m very biased towards Lucy’s but I do objectively think they have a lot of great elements. I typically switch between getting the cashew chicken or chicken fried rice. In my opinion, Lucy’s has the best rice on the side. The chicken is decent, but could be more tender. Their breading starts to flake off once the sauce is added which I like. I really like their wontons, and you get six small ones, perfect for dipping in the sauce.

Got a bone in my general chicken first bite after I got home… almost broke a tooth.

Please change your fry oil!!! It is sooo necessary. Lucy’s has been around for as long as I can remember and it has always been rather decent. Never great but never bad… it is NOT the same, it is now bad. Soo disappointing. Yuck. I haven’t been able to get the burnt fry oil out of my mouth for an hour. It left a coating it was so bad.

Happy employee, outstanding food, very helpful with questions about their small menu.
You have to try their chicken fried rice. It’s simple but wayyyyy better than any other fried rice iv ever tried.

Came here for the general and sweet and sour chicken, and it’s fantastic! The food is good, the place is impeccably clean, and our food came out very quick! The person servicing us, Garrett, was very friendly and patient with us. It’s such a shame hardly anyone else was here during the visit, because it definitely deserves more business. I definitely recommend this location, especially if you’re going out with friends or are on a casual date.

Love their Cashew Chicken and fried rice, been going for years, but probably will not be going back. Our last visit, they’re now tacking on an undeclared “Service Charge”. Probably won’t go back. If you need to raise your prices, do that, don’t do these stupid junk fees.

Great, flavorful food! We tried the sweet and sour, cashew, and general chicken with an eggroll, wontons, and crab Rangoons. It was $33 for 3 full combo dinners. They use all white meat. The rice is amazing! General chicken was our favorite!

I’ve been eating Lucy’s since I was 12 years old and I’m 41 now. It’s more nostalgic than anything. Unfortunately the quality isn’t what I remember.
