We loved the classic French cuisine and the way every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, from fresh seafood to refined starters and elegant mains. The menu leans traditional with modern touches, and pairing a good wine with the scenery genuinely elevates the experience.
Service was friendly and attentive, and even when the restaurant was bustling, the pace never felt rushed. What really sets this place apart is the combination of a cozy, Parisian atmosphere and stunning views that just make conversation flow.
The prices are on the higher side, but for the occasion and ambiance, it felt well worth it. If you’re in Paris and want a date spot with that wow factor, this is one to bookmark.
However, focusing on the food, it is actually very pricey in relation to what you get. It is not something life-changing or particularly special, but it is good. Because of this, if I ever come back, it would mainly be to have some cocktails while appreciating the restaurant and its view, or to enjoy some entrées, especially their delicious and majestic burrata, which I truly highlight.
Based on this, he recommended two dishes.
Before eating, I checked the steak sauce with another waiter. Good thing I did. It contained oyster sauce.
Their solution was to remove the sauce from the plate.
When I raised the issue with the manager, Germaine was extremely rude. Other tables commented because of how uncomfortable the interaction was considering the situation and how calm we were compared.
If I hadn’t checked a fourth time, I would have ended the night in hospital.
The female wait staff were lovely. Germaine and others acted as though my passing out on the floor would have been less inconvenient than being questioned about a serious food safety failure.
The food was comforting and well prepared. The onion soup was rich and flavorful, the pasta simple and delicious, and dessert with cappuccino was the ideal way to end the night.
The atmosphere felt warm, lively, and distinctly Parisian. It was a memorable birthday dinner in every way.
