Went in to get lunch, and I left with a generous employee who was nice enough to help out when I was $2 short.
Check my bank account this morning, I had $60 so I went to go do some grocery runs, stopped by Popeye’s Chicken for lunch, in which this kind lady told me I still owed about $2…
Checked my bank account because I was confused, and somehow two of my credit cards providers couldn’t wait to get paid on Thursday so they took out money early, leaving me with nothing until Thursday.
I ended up telling the lady, “you know what? I’m sorry for the inconvenience” and to “just refund the order”, in which she replied, “no worries, I got it” as she pulls out her own card to pay for the $2 difference.
You know, if it wasn’t for being screwed over by TKS Auto by trusting one of their worthless mechanics to do work on my car, I wouldn’t be losing money for half-ass work every month.
I will say though, huge props to this employee… I’ll definitely be dropping in again when I have more to spare when my credit card providers don’t decide that they can take out money as they please.
Give her a raise or a free meal. She deserves it.

Tried the three chicken tenders with Cajun fries and a side of popcorn. The taste teased but didn’t quite deliver—everything felt like it sat out too long. The staff had great energy, though a bit of chaos behind the counter. Still, their smiles and kind attitude made the visit worth it. A little freshness, and this place could be irresistible.

They gave me 6 scrawny plain wings that tasted horrible and were soggy in grease. Don’t bother with this place if they can’t get right the simple action of placing 1, 2, and then 3 tenders into a box. Imagine what slightly complex safety and cleaning procedures they botch if they can’t even get right an order that my 2 year old niece could ace. Even if I wanted wings, these disgusting skinny slabs of meat and bone almost made me gag with how soggy the skin was. Really would go 0/5 if I could.

Order was completely wrong – if you dont have white meat say so. I believe chicken had been sitting for a few hours. The order of potatoes was not a large order – practically no gravy. Biscuits were good.

The cashier, Arisha (i think?) was so sweet! Super friendly and polite, order was correct, gave us extra honey packets and had a super friendly attitude. Definitely best fast food experience we’ve had in NM. Give that girl a raise!

My mom and I went through the drive thru and were amazed by the great customer service we received by Raye. Raye did a great job at taking our order and ensuring that he had everything put in right for our order. Also, when Raye delivered our food, he ensured there were plenty of napkins, sporks, and honey for our biscuits. The chicken was also delicious (as always), and my mom and I also enjoyed the strawberry cheesecake pies. We definitely plan on returning again soon!

This will be the last time I go to this restaurant. The chicken was not hot, barely any gravy on the mashed potatoes, the macaroni and cheese was very mushy. Like it was made a few days ago. The tables weren’t wiped down (food crumbs all over majority of the tables), and the floor needed a good scrubbing. I hope I don’t get food poisoning from your food. I don’t think so, since I threw majority of it away. Wasn’t even thinking on giving it to a homeless person. Don’t want to get them sick!!
If I were you, there are better chicken options out there. Chick-Fil-A/Raising Caines/Kentucky Fried Chicken to name a few.

This place is amazing, the staff is always amazing and makes you feel welcomed. Me and my family love coming here. The only sad thing is the fact they will no longer be selling the popcorn shrimp. They were the last place in town that I have been too that had the best popcorn shrimp, that is my go to order. Sad to see it go. I’ll still comeback, unfortunately not as often any more, need to go find me some popcorn shrimp.
