We typically order to go food, occasionally dine in. The food is always great, to go or dine in! Their Bleu cheese dressing and tartar sauce are made in house, and they both are AMAZING!! From crispy tots, pizza, to burgers, everything we have had has been great! I love that they have some of your “typical bar food” on the menu as well, cause who doesn’t love bar food! The kitchen staff takes pride in their food, and the bartenders and servers are welcoming and great at their jobs!

I recently started coming to Wolverine with a buddy to camp, so this was my first time coming here. We came right after opening. The bartender was friendly and the atmosphere was laid back with football on the tv.
Service was quick even though it got fairly busy and the bartender was working the front by herself. My cheeseburger was really tasty and cooked just like I ordered. The onion rings and cheese sticks were great. My buddy had one of the Grinders and really liked it. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area to try that.

We live in a small town with very minimal options for eating out. I took myself and my two daughters here for a quick fun dinner. We enjoyed our food but it was about 20 minutes after we finished our meals still no bill. So the girls and I pack up our leftovers and head towards the bar to pay. I was approaching the bar but the main part of the bar was consumed with guests so I had to walk to the side to actually get to the bar. The bartender proceeds to harass me telling me I’m trying to walk out on my bill. There was only 3 other guests in the bar so I didn’t understand why we were ignored then harassed.
Very unpleasant experience for me and the kids. And I still tipped. If you’re looking for a bar experience maybe but I won’t go here again.
UPDATE: I reached out like I was asked to. No response just left on read.

Good pizza great wait staff. I would totally go back. I really liked all the beer signs! The bartender was friendly and invited us to karaoke. I ordered my pizza extra cooked and it should have been cooked more.

It’s more than just a bar, I’ve been going here my entire life and the mini tacos are the bomb bro, if I went onto a plane with them I would be arrested.

Pizza for a 12″ 39.00. A little greasy on the cardboard it was put on. Wont get pizza again at that price. Fish was great.

This is my kind of bar! This is a hidden gem in “up north” Michigan! To be completely forthright, I have only been here 4 or 5 times and only 20 minutes at a time while waiting for pizza take out. The moment you walk in the door you should feel at ease. Strangers won’t feel any uncomfortable attention but will feel like you could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. The decor is “roadhouse disco”. Seriously, they have a disco light on the ceiling that is so perfect to bounce color changing light beams onto road signs, humorous metal signs and AWESOME taxidermized animals hanging on the walls! They have a jukebox and pool tables if that’s your mood and lots of seating/tables. Their menu seems like just about anyone could find something to snack on but I only ever bought pizza, which is AMAZING! Their prices are VERY reasonable. The bartenders are cuties and quick to meet you. I didn’t have any drinks and only got pizza to go. There is a lot of free parking next to the bar, in front of the bar and across the street from the bar. With the Up North chill friendly vibe and cool staff and patrons I’d imagine the bar can be packed and you’d still find parking. Word of warning – the speed limit is 25 MPH as you arrive at the Wolverine city limits and I’d suggest you abide by that. This a beautiful town and should be respected, but I’ve heard that some small towns in the area strictly enforced by well hidden law enforcement officers. “You got to watch out for the police…when you’re cruisin’ into Wolverine…” Bob Seger (paraphrased), “Live Bullet, Cobo Hall – Detroit Michigan, 1976

A true must visit in northern Michigan!

Wow! The building, food, service, and atmosphere. The stone fire pizza will really do well in this much needed local family restaurant. The rustic space is large enough to comfortably seat 6+ with a full bar and an extensive collection of taxidermy displays.
