It was my first time going here so naturally I was excited! At first everything seemed great, we were seated immediately and was attended to right away. The dinner rolls were amazing! We waited for awhile for our food to come, but my husband got steak so it was a reasonable wait. He requested for just butter on his mashed potatoes, but he got it with gravy instead and I ordered Caesar salad but our server brought me house salad. The server didn’t mind to check on how we were doing up until we had to ask another server to bring us boxes as we were ready to leave. When the server came back, they kept saying they had trainees to attend to and that it was a busy kitchen, bla bla bla. Sure, it was packed and they served some items wrong, but we also paid for the dining experience and that was not it!

I have alot of food allergies and the manager was nice enough to come to my table and help me figure out what I can eat. He also shared with me info on how to look up their allergy menu. My chicken was cooked perfectly. It wasn’t dry at all. My sweet potatoes was delicious! I always have a good experience when I go here. 🙂

If you like eating raw steak then this would have been your day five people sitting at my table all five of us got raw steaks they should have just brought the cow in there and let us just take a little bit out of it That’s pretty much the way I felt. Spent a lot of money for nothing. My opinion the manager should have comped all our are meals. I sent my steak back to have them cook it and it took 20 minutes for me to get that steak back. By that time I was totally over! My cats ate really good that night they love it..

Visited this particular roadhouse, located just off W IN 46, on mother’s day and it was the first time I had had a bad experience at any of these establishments. Our wait wasn’t too bad considering the day, but we did get there at 11 in the morning and still waited over 45 minutes for a party of 3. Our server was friendly enough to begin with but simply disappeared for over a half hour after placing our order. Good thing we aren’t needy guests or we would have been out of luck. After watching several guests receive their orders before us even though we ordered before them our food finally arrived. I don’t know if you are particular about what your food looks like when you receive it, but I can definitely tell the difference between fresh off the grill food and food that’s been sitting unattended for a few. My mother’s steak, my grilled chicken, and my wife’s steak all arrived at our table looking like pieces of rubber, for a lack of a better word. Our sides were the only thing that was actually hot. Our plates were luke warm at best. I don’t know about you but if I’m paying that much money for my food I definitely want it piping hot. This was my first experience with this establishment that I came away wishing I had chosen somewhere else to treat my wife and mother to a mother’s day dinner. Hopefully this is more of an anomaly than what is becoming the norm. I understand being busy but these guys are busy, all, the, time!

We got here around 11 am right after they opened. We got out food quickly but it took an additional 10-15 minutes just to get dipping sauce by then the food had cooled. I’m assuming it was the manager who was stopping at tables including ones behind us asking how everything was. He skipped our table, just ignored us. The young lady who waited on us was friendly. Might come back then again might not. A middle of the road rating is fair.
