We stopped at Lyndon Diner around 11 a.m. for an early lunch, and everything was excellent. I ordered the chicken tenders and fries with a side of baked apples. My wife had a cheese omelet with sausage, grits, and a side of scrapple. Both meals were delicious and well prepared. I also ordered Lyndon Diner’s chili to take home—it was outstanding and definitely a must-try.
Our server was exceptional—very attentive and friendly. She made sure everything was prepared just the way we ordered. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, with light music playing in the background during our meal.
In my opinion, Lyndon Diner may be the best diner in Lancaster, PA. It’s definitely a must-stop spot.

I got the Gourmet Cinnamon French Toast. It came with regular butter and cinnamon butter:). It was really good. My server Erin was so nice and sweet. She even brought out a cream cheese for me to try.( That was for another French Toast option). I will definitely be back. I came at 4am after a 12hr shift.

Excellent authentic diner. Huge menu, with daily specials. I had the Chicken Pot Pie with soup and two sides. I upcharged to French Onion soup and it was worth the added price! Staff is freindly and service is very quick.

I’ve never been a huge fan of diners but this place it’s different. The food is actually amazing. I’ve been quite a few times with my boyfriend and friends and the staff is always so friendly. I highly recommend the pot roast Benedict! It’s so good. I was hungry after a long drive home from a concert and this hit the spot. The place also has a cool vibe. This is probably the best diner I’ve ever been to.

Service was subpar. Food wasn’t what was described on the menu, the sweet potato fries didn’t have much flavor, and the ham was burnt. The BLT was actually pretty good.

I took a friend to the doctor and had a long wait so she said why don’t you get lunch. Since Panera is the least horrible fast food and I am vegetarian I put it my GPS, I missed the turn and am glad I did! (SERENDIPITY) I saw a diner and pulled in. Lyndon, City Line Diner is like stepping back in time, 1950 and 1960 music, metal, counter, all kind of delicious looking desserts in a glass case by the register. I ordered a vege wrap and one of the specials was scalloped potatoes. So that was my side. Service was fast and I excitedly told the Karen, my waitress how I how I happened upon this place. Karen was the best and went out of her way. The food was great and I was stuffed. I ordered a coffee which was great diner coffee. I took the coconut bomb desert home and it was delicious. This is not real close to me but I will be back when I am out in Lancaster. By the way the parking lot was full on a weekday! I can see why.

We were sat immediately and our waitress was very friendly. Food came out quickly. We got a Philly with fries and a fried fish dinner. The sub was very large and tasty. The fish was great homemade tartar sauce. This came with two sides and a salad. The coleslaw was very good and sweet, the sweet potato fries were good, even came with a maple dipping sauce. The only complaint was the salad, the lettuce was turning brown. The salad dressing however tasted homemade. I would definitely go back again!

Had a traditional diner vibe. There was counter seating or booths. The menu was all-day, both for breakfast and lunch. There was a lovely selection of deserts in the counter when you exit. Food portions were huge. The food was good. I had a steak fajita omlette. The person I was with had the baked oatmeal. Bottomless coffee. Lovely waitress would ask if we need it warmed up. We didn’t try their drinks menu, but they had a great selection of fun morning drinks like a screwball irish coffee which sounded incredible. I cannot wait to go back.

A friend suggested we meet at the Lyndon diner for lunch one day. I had never been and used to enjoy diners when I lived in Jersey so I was up for trying. I am so glad I went! It gave me a real diner feel like I remember. The people were very polite, the place was clean and the food was delicious. I had the French toast and bacon and it was perfect. My friend had an omelet she really liked it. The portions for the price is amazing and worth it! Looking forward to bringing some family there to try it as well!

Loved the Diner! Great job on our waitress, her second day at work, serving party of 10! YAY!!!
Amount of food you get with the price was unbelievable. Shrimp stuffed with crab meat, French Onion Soup, coleslaw, sweet potato fries, burger, chicken sandwich, meatloaf, crab cakemelt, Ruben, you name it and all so delicious! Now, the desserts, WOW! There’s no words to describe how good the desserts were! Just melts in your mouth!
