I searched for a vegetarian restaurant in Meeker and Mexican House is all that came up. I was dubious but I ordered the fried vegetables and I got this! They were delicious. The beans were good too.

Visiting from out of town. Decided to have dinner here. The previous reviews on here that state the meat tastes like a can of cat or dog food, they are absolutely accurate! I wish I would have read the reviews first. We ordered the beef fajitas and a meat combo plate. The meat was inedible. It almost tastes like they over season it so you can’t identify rotten meat. It literally made me gag. I couldn’t even eat it. The rice was crunchy and not even cooked completely. The beans had the taste of rancid grease and were runny. When they came to clear the plates, our plates left just as full as they were delivered. The chips also tasted like rancid grease and the salsa was literally the consistency of water with some floating green onions and cilantro. You couldn’t even scoop any with a chip. As I looked around while waiting for our food, I regretted ordering anything. The restaurant is dirty. Ceiling tiles had major water damage and things were not clean. I can only imagine the filth in the kitchen. Another review stated they saw rats in the restaurant, from how dirty things were, I can absolutely believe that because that’s what I was expecting as well. Overall, this place was disgusting.

We stopped at the Los Carnales passing through town. We had never been here before and didn’t know what to expect. You walk in the door, order your food at the register, and wait for the food to be brought out to you. The food was amazing. I had the street tacos and they were phenomenal. Everyone enjoyed their food and that didn’t have any complaints. There was a condiments bar with pickled peppers and onions, salsa, etc.

Food is good. Got over charged for the servers mess up, server said he would have to call the manager who is “not in town” and asked to wait… Just paid and left. Left 0 tip. Short servers or not, fix the the mess up the server did and don’t blame the customer. Will NOT return.

Big place. Was clean. Service ok. Food was a bit lacking. Prepared ok and was hot. Just didn’t really taste like anything. Meat was a bit dry. Wasn’t bad, just wasn’t good either. Wouldn’t be in a hurry to go back.

Honestly, Service was great! But the food on the other hand was HORRENDOUS………
Rice was undercooked, beans were bland, looks like they got their chips and salsa from dollar tree… The drinks were FOUL, the margaritas weren’t even margaritas and the gin and tonic was literally gin with water..

Food was great service was awesome. Definitely a great place to eat. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a good mexucan meal. I’ve been back multiple times. My only complaint is that the ground beef needs more flavor. But still 5 stars

WOW! We just visited several days after the Lee fire- so grateful Meeker made it out. The food and service here was tasty, authentic, and well priced. Jorge was our server and he made sure we had everything we needed- including the house made hot sauce. Don’t miss out.
