Please don’t come here if you’re indian/wanting authentic indian food. The food was honestly disgusting. The experience was so bad that it circled back to comedic. The service was terribleeeee, whenever we would ask for something to be fixed the manager would show up and dress us down about them “following the menu” – i mean sure you could’ve written we serve trash on the menu and then blamed the customer for ordering poorly prepared food. The chutney was shrek radioactive green. I think they genuinely dyed it with blue coloring. We might be the first people in the history of the world to have to SEND BACK DIET COKE because either their water or the syrup def had something wrong with it. We tried to send back the gobhi manchurian because it was SWEETER THAN DESERT and instead the manager started lecturing us over it being prepared according to the menu and us ordering that way? We started reading the rude replies by the owner to other customer mid meal to entertain ourselves somehow. The curries were just miscellaneous sauces that did not taste like anything that they are supposed to canonically – we ordered daal maharani and received rajma in a cream sauce? Not a speck of lentil to be found? This was one way i suppose of leaving your customers with a memorable experience

Nirvana is a solid option on Bainbridge Island when you’re craving Indian food. We had a couple of starters that hit the spot. The onion bhaji was nicely done, and the pakora was especially good with a subtle chili kick.
For the mains, it was a mixed bag. The Gurkha subzi with paratha was the clear standout, seriously delicious and the kind of dish you’ll think about later. The malai kofta, on the other hand, was just average and not something I’d order again (it came with rice).
Big plus: parking and seating were both easy. Overall, a good spot with some real highlights.

Best Indian food I had so far although I don’t usually have Indian cuisine for dinner. Nothing got too heavy. The chicken is roasted very good and the chai tea tastes very differently from my understanding of normal chai tea, more like Hong Kong milk tea, which is great. Mango lassi is especially good, very natural flavor! It’s even better than the one of the fine dining Indian restaurant in Renton. Staff is friendly but they have limited tables so need to get in really early to avoid waiting for a long time.

If you’re visiting Bainbridge Island and craving authentic, flavorful desi cuisine, Nirvana is an absolute must-try.
From the moment we walked in, the aroma alone told us we were in for something special. We ordered momos and garlic naan—both were exceptional, especially the naan, which was perfectly soft with just the right crisp. Daal Makhni and vegetarian biryani were so delicious we couldn’t stop eating until the plate was completely clean. No leftovers at all!
For anyone looking for rich flavors, warm hospitality, and truly satisfying Indian food, Nirvana is the place to be.

What they serve is neither Indian nor Nepali. Forget fusion. Felt like throwing up immediately after leaving. He put artificial color dye in green sauce. Fried food in burnt oil. Used canned beans to make some gravies. Server was rude. Its apparent that he is patronizing local Americans who cannot distinguish between a good and bad quality asian indian-nepali food. Misusing their innocence and cheating. Now he will yell back at this review claiming we r fake and school us how bad a customer we were. Thats his tactic of playing with psychology. Never ever eat here if you don’t want to spoil your trip to Bainbridge Island. Eat french fries or nice pastries in nearby bakers – thats better.

Great authentic Indian food. Great spices in every dish. Service was pretty good considering how busy it was and there was only a couple servers. Prices were not bad as well.
