We have been to Cooper’s Hawk in Coconut Creek a few times now, and it continues to deliver a consistently enjoyable dining experience. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between elegant and comfortable, and the service is warm, attentive, and never overbearing.
Yesterday, we also tried their wine tasting for the first time, and it was a fantastic experience. Janelle took care of us, and she was absolutely top-notch knowledgeable, friendly, and truly excellent at guiding us through the different selections. Her customer service made the tasting memorable.
For starters, we had the Thai lettuce wraps and the shrimp & guacamole appetiser both beautifully presented and full of flavor. The shrimp were juicy with a bright citrusy sauce that paired perfectly with the creamy guacamole. The flatbread was another highlight: crispy, flavorful, and generously topped with roasted veggies and a touch of balsamic glaze.
For our mains, we ordered the pistachio-crusted grouper with asparagus and mashed potatoes rich, savory, and perfectly cooked and the churrasco steak with fries and chimichurri. The steak had the right char and the chimichurri added a fresh, herby kick.
While not every dish was a showstopper, the overall quality remained consistently high, and the wine pairing options are always a plus. Cooper’s Hawk continues to be a solid go-to spot for a relaxing lunch or dinner with great food and a refined atmosphere.
We are already looking forward to coming back especially for appetisers and of course more wine!

We went out for a date night and had the pleasure of being taken care of by Angela, who was absolutely awesome. She was super cool, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.
The food was 10/10 and absolutely fantastic. We ordered the filet mignon and the gnocchi alla vodka with Italian sausage, and both were delicious.
The wine was amazing as well — we ordered a bottle, and they even re-cork it for you if you don’t finish, so you can take it home.
I’ve been to Cooper’s Hawk before, but this experience really stood out. Huge shoutout to Angela for making our night great. ✨

My experience here was mixed. The food started off just okay–my steak and vegetables were both overcooked, which was disappointing. However, the staff handled the situation professionally and had no problem letting me return the dish and choose something else. I ended up going with the chef’s special instead, and that turned out to be a much better choice-flavorful and well-prepared.
On the downside, the restroom situation definitely needs attention. The lock on the bathroom door was completely broken off, offering no privacy, and there was no toilet tissue in the stall. For a place that otherwise seems to take pride in its food and service, that part really needs improvement.
All in all, the visit had some highs and lows. I appreciated the good customer service and enjoyed the chef’s special, but I hope they address the facility issues soon.

I have been to Cooper Hawk twice and it’s a great place to go with friends. The only reason I put four stars in the atmosphere is because it’s loud. Maybe a little more crowd to control would be better and it would be nice if the people having dinner had priority in the wine tasting when there’s a reservation. The wine tasting is a great deal with a lot of options and the food is always 100%. Nice portions too. The staff is friendly and the place is nicely decorated with a very cool store together with the wine tasting section. Definitely an experience.

Went with Members. Wine tasting then dinner. Pours were generous, hostess friendly. Dinner was very good. Had lettuce wraps and meatballs appetizers. Beef Medalions, prime beef sandwich for dinner and cakes, coffee for desert. Service was excellent. Only complaint was prime sandwich was too salty. Overall, nice night oiut.

Kudos to Cory, he was an outstanding server! He treated us like family, and everything he recommend was a hit! We ordered Crispy Brussel Sprouts as an appetizer, delish! Plus 2 Surf & Turfs, one was the Fillet medallion w/Blue crab stuffed lobster tail and Roasted Broccolini + Bin40. The 2nd one was Pistachio Crusted Grouper W/ Churrasco and Mary’s potatoes + Bin80. We will definately be back soon!

Where shall I begin the staff are A1 at what they do I’ve been to two locations and the service was the same the wine tasting is the best experience ever if your a wine drinker the servers at the tasting are very good at knowing what their giving you to taste and I save the best for last the food is A1 as well never had a bad dish never had to send something back. I’ll recommend Cooper’s Hawk to everyone who reads this review

Firstly, Stefano was incredible. His service was passionate and he treated us like VIPs from the start. We started with drinks and he noticed my girl wasnt sure of what to drink so he immediately made recommendations for her to try. We had light conversation and it was natural and warming. He introduced the Wine Club but did it in such a way that we felt like we were being invited to the best club and we felt we needed to sign up, he only introduced the perks and left us intrigued. I am not a wine drinker so the club isnt for me but my other half mentioned she would definitely consider it with her friends. Food came out and it was amazing. Truthfully, best service ive received in a while and would definitely come back as long as I can request Stefano. Appreciate the great night!

We had a wonderfully good meal at Cooper’s Hawk. We expected the meal to be good, but it was really great in all regards. This place features a wine club and the outer foyer gets very busy when club members line up at the counters for their full of various wines. We are not wine club members (prefer beer anyway) and skipped this area. Once at the hostess stand, things got a little strange. At the hostess stand, we asked for a table in the main dining area and were told we needed to wait 30 minutes for one of those tables. At least half those tables were empty at the time. So we accepted a table in the bar area, which was almost completely full. At least, we did not need to wait. The bar was probably so full, because everybody was being told the same as us about the 30 minute wait. Our waiter was great. He was polite and very attentive. The food was amazing. I had the dolphin sandwich (what locals call it, menu uses the term mahi-mahi) and it was perfect. I will return to Cooper’s Hawk just to get this sandwich again.

Love this place. I am a member and I try to come often usually with my mother. This time around I brought my sisters along and they also loved it. We went on a very busy and rainy Sunday, we waited a little for the wine tasting but the experience was great. I After that we sat down for dinner and our waitress Angela was wonderful. Truly an Angel. The service was excellent, the food and the wine delicious. Can’t wait to come back soon.
