The atmosphere was nice, we set upstairs they had the windows open. Very comfortable for warm nights.
The service was amazing.
We ordered the grilled salmon and yakisoba. The service itself was nice — our server was polite and friendly — but the food… just not good. The salmon tasted bland, more like baked fish than grilled, with no flavor at all. The sides were just as bad. And the yakisoba? It wasn’t even real yakisoba — just plain fried noodles with some vegetables, nothing close to authentic. It was edible, but that’s about it.
We were not that hungry and didn’t want to be Karen so said nothing about how disappointing is their food at that moment, and decided to took it home. The next morning, I decided to eat some of the yakisoba — and to my absolute disgust, I found what looked like a baby cockroach in the food. I felt sick to my stomach and almost threw up. There’s no way it came from home — we went straight from the restaurant to the fridge.
That moment completely ruined my trust in this place. It’s not just about bad food — it’s about hygiene and safety. The restaurant really needs to call pest control and take cleanliness seriously. Also, whoever is cooking needs proper training — this was far from authentic Japanese food.
What makes it worse is that the restaurant is dimly lit, kind of lounge-style, so we might not have even noticed the bug if we had eaten everything there. Just the thought of that makes me feel even more disgusted.
Never going back. Never recommending this place to anyone
Good Service
The food was good and some part so so.. uncooked and fish smells
But it was ok
The price was ok
Strong recommend it
It was ok but you know tips now.
Here is tip was put on the check 18%
Automatically
Oh mmm no good.
And asking additional tips
Oh no good.
The Sushi was ok service was substandard. This may be due to the gratuity being automatically andded into the bill at 18%. I think if the waitress had to work for her tip she may have been more a tentative. Unfortunately, the quality of the Sushi could be better as well.
