Pier Restaurant was an enjoyable experience. We sat on the patio where it felt a little more casual. The inside has a country club vibe. We had cocktails, wine, oysters and entrees. The salmon was very good. The risotto with the salmon was a little gummy. The pesto pasta was awesome. Service was friendly. The view of the harbor was fantastic.

Amazing food, love the location. It was dark, yet still so beautiful and peaceful walking down the docks.
Loved the food, I had the Rueben, which was probably the best I have had in a very long time.
Loved the environment, the unique touches to every thing from the lighting to the seating.
It seemed as if the staff had gotten busy, as they were all looking and acting burned out. Which I understand as I have worked in the food service business, and at some busy restaurants. Our waiter was exceptional, will definitely make a trip back!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Pier Restaurant tonight! Our party of 8 showed up knowing they had a large group of 30 arriving at the same time, and we were so grateful they found a way to squeeze us in. Despite the busy night, the service was above and beyond.
Katie, the manager, was incredible, she stopped by multiple times to check in and make sure everything was perfect. There was one small mix-up during dinner, but the staff didn’t just fix it, they went way overboard to make it right. It was clear they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in making the experience exceptional.
The food was delicious, the setting in the harbor is beautiful, and the entire team made us feel valued and well taken care of. We’re so thankful for the warm hospitality and a memorable night. Highly recommend!

We had dinner around 6 PM at Pier Restaurant, and it was truly one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. The location is absolutely breathtaking—both inside and outside—and the service was excellent.
Our server, Alex, took such great care of us, making sure we had a wonderful time. We ordered the Harbor Springs Smashed Burger—it was huge, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. We also had the pleasure of personally thanking Chef Alex for the amazing food.

My husband and I had the absolute best dining experience here. We showed up without a reservation on Saturday night, hoping to enjoy our anniversary dinner here. The hostess, let us know we would have about a 30 minute wait. We said that was fine, and my husband mentioned we would like to be seated in one of their booths if possible. The hostess, having a great sense of humor, saw an empty booth and quickly let us know that she had all of a sudden “found our reservation” and promptly seated us in the booth . We were quickly greeted by our waitress, who did an outstanding job serving us. Our drinks and food were served almost instantly, literally waited only minutes for each. This was our first time here, and we will definitely be back! Keep up the great service.

We stopped in late afternoon to grab a drink and gaze at the piers on the waterfront. Flowers out front were so pretty. The inside was beautifully decorated. The bar area a cozy place to catch up on sports or warm up by the fire.

Came here with family and was our first time. Was absolutely blown away. Our server Jason was amazing. He went above and beyond for us and made us feel welcome and comfortable. My family had brought up my birthday in a conversation and Jason ended up surprising us with a desert tray. That was so thoughtful, kind, and delicious. Our food was phenomenal. I recommend the perch tacos. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was perfect. Thanks again for a great birthday dinner. Definitely will be coming back. 🙂

However, while the food was enjoyable, it felt a bit pretentious and overpriced. The presentation was beautiful, but the flavors didn’t quite match the premium we paid, and the portion sizes left us wanting a bit more. Overall, it’s worth a visit for the atmosphere, but the food could use a bit more substance to justify the price.

Food was average for the price. The seafood chowder tasted more like potato soup. The steak medalions were very tender but really had no flavor. Great view. I would go back once more and try a few different options.
