Do you mean to tell me you charge $10 for two enchiladas with no beans or rice—just the enchiladas and a sprinkle of lettuce? That’s highly disrespectful. After taxes it came out to $11.

I’m going to post a picture of this because it’s absolutely unacceptable. I will never come here again. Matter of fact, you might as well close the restaurant if this is how you treat customers, because it feels like you’re robbing people. That’s basically $5 per enchilada—something you can easily make at home.

Disgusting. 0/10.

AND THEN TO TOP IT OFF THE BEEF LOOKS LIKE DOG FOOD. SHUT DOWN YOUR RESTAURANT IMMEDIATELY.

Unfortunately giving this location a terrible review because of what happened.
Briefly, we started coming here weekly about 2 months ago because the food got the spot when we craved some good carniasada. They are not cheap, the menu items are what they are. Anyways a week ago we went and only got a few small things (because of the price) and the total was $68. I didn’t think much of it, they are expensive. But my wife reminded me we only got a few things and the cost shouldn’t be that high. I already paid and as she returned with the food I questioned the price. She went to get some help and what seemed like 5 minutes later she hangs me a receipt saying she must’ve accidentally overcharged me by $25, the refund will go to my account on a couple days.
Guess what, it hasn’t. Not sure what I’m going to do but they need to make things right.

Came for some breakfast burritos – they were super delicious and HUGE! Well worth the money. It’s not your traditional taco shop but definitely worth it. Aracely was super helpful and sweet. Overall great place to be!

This place is so disappointing. I have ordered food about 7 different times over this past year and I will tell you this….the staff is horrible. EVERY single interaction I have had has been rude. There is one young girl in particular that is rude. She has ignored me multiple times. The final straw was this week. Ordered on their new website. Was informed that the staff has acknowledged the order. I picked car pick up. Waited outside for about 5 minutes. Once my order time had passed I walked inside and that same girl acted like she had no clue there was an order. Then she “found” it. From the time that I placed my ordered and then actually received it was about 45 minutes. On top of the terrible service they raised their prices. We used to order veggie burritos for $6.99 and now they are $9.99. It’s just not worth it anymore. If their service was good we wouldn’t be so disappointed in the price increase. Bad service and pay more?! What?!

The food here is solid—definitely not the greatest I’ve ever had, but far from the worst. Little bit on the pricier side but serving sizes are good. Like most places, some items on the menu are better than others. I’ve tried quite a few things off the menu so far. I’d recommend the burritos, tortas, or the carne asada fries, which are consistently the better tasting choices. Can’t go wrong with an order of churros for dessert and a Agua de Jamaica to wash it down either.

I also really like that this location is open 24/7 and has a drive thru. I regularly grab food here late at night, so having a spot that’s always open is a big plus. On top of that, shoutout to the beautiful lady at the cashier—she’s always very helpful and makes sure I get plenty of sauces, which honestly goes a long way. Overall, it’s a dependable spot with a few standout menu items, great late-night availability, and friendly service. Would recommend if you’re looking for something to eat and are in the area already.

I came here around 11pm, the young lady repeated my order 3 times and somehow still got it wrong. I was not given any guacamole in my tacos. I ordered the el jefe tacos with no spicy sauce and it was still put on my tacos. I go to the location on Alma Rd and ive never got an el jefe taco with french fries and no onions, cilantro, or bacon?! Very Lazy location. I spent about 40$

Everything was bland, not good at all. Where is the flavor, there are no spices. Seriously, $17.95 and the carne asada tastes like they cut the meat and cooked it plane. I’ve had better more flavorful rice in a cowboys house in Oklahoma. Beans taste out of a can. Spoonful of guacamole and pico.. They hooked me up with a lot of lettuce though. That was the best part. Asked for flour tortillas got corn and one had a hard edge. To make it complete thy just needed to kick me in the butt and say, TOMA!

We visited on a Saturday afternoon and were the only people there. Customer service was fantastic. We visit this location about once a month. This Saturday 4/12/25 we saw a new sign for “under new management” and hoped it would not have changed anything. Unfortunately the food wasn’t as great as it once was. Everything was pretty bland. We ordered the taquitos “rolled tacos” , chicken quesadilla and carne asada fries. The rolled tacos and quesadilla really had no flavor. The carne asada fries were good but not what they used to be. Everything was made fresh and presented nicely which did help the visit but it was pretty disappointing. The sprite didn’t have any flavor either.

Over priced, bland tasting, but huge portion sizes.

We got 3 tacos and a chimichanga platter. The food was mid. Under seasoned, bland, and with zero spice. The refried beans tasted like they came right out of a can, and while the mexican rice was fluffy, there were uncooked grains mixed in and it had no flavor.

The tacos were oily and also lacked flavor or spice. The hot sauce was red liquid, not spicy or tasty.

Overall the food was bland and uninteresting and made without love. The to-go boxes they use are also too delicate for knife and fork. I feel like the food is over priced.

The good things are that while the food is expensive, the portion sizes are large, and the ingredients themselves seem better than fast food ingredients. However none of that matters if the food is bland. Too much bland food is still bland food.

Valerie’s is one of our favorite spots to eat a quick meal. The staff is always friendly and fast to take our orders. They keep the inside very clean, as well as the kitchen area. We haven’t had any issues with the food, and if there is any issues with our order they are always helpful.
