Yummy buffet! I stopped in here twice this week and loved it both times. Jenny took good care of me and the food was delicious. Plenty of seating and a laid back casual atmosphere. I’ll be back!

Magnolia’s is one of my favorite places at the beach. My mom loved this place and every time we would come to the beach we had to go here. This year it was bittersweet for me because she passed away last fall.
We were here on a Saturday around 4 and it wasn’t busy. Our server, Mo, was super friendly and did a great job. My son ordered from the menu at grilled chicken sandwich and fries and said it was really good. I ordered the best sweet tea in the south and the buffet.
I like how they serve the food to you with a friendly smile! The bar has fresh vegetables on the salad, hot rolls, mac and cheese (yum), delicious ziti, shrimp, meatloaf, collard greens (which I tried because they were my moms favorite) and so much more! There is dessert and ice cream too.

We love it so much we also went there for the breakfast bar on the morning before we left. That was a different experience because this time they were slammed. The staff was managing it well though and again the food was delicious.

We were a group of 6 and had no issues getting seated very quickly. We ate here for breakfast and for brunch. Both times we opted for the buffet. Both buffets were great. The food is southern style and really well prepared. The wait staff gives you that southern charm and is extremely professional. We loved this place and it will be a must stop for us in future visits to Myrtle Beach.

We went on a Saturday night in January. Around 6:15 we arrived. It was pretty empty. We got seated right away. Service is amazing. Waitresses are amazing! The cash register person was amazing. The people behind the buffet were amazing. However, the food was extremely dry and it seemed like they put a big batch out. Maybe at 5:00 and it was still the same food sitting there. The fish was chewy and dry. The fried chicken was dry. The salads look like they were made yesterday. All in all the food was not very good at all. It’s a shame because we’ve been wanting to try this place for years now and we finally went and had a very mediocre experience. Maybe during season? It’s better because they’re refreshing the food more. However, the price is extremely high for the quality of food and the selection. The selection isn’t really that good. It’s a bunch of stewed vegetables and fried stuff selection lacks quality lacks. For myself, my 17-year-old and my 1-year-old are meal with tip was close to $70. They even charge for a 1-year-old which is pretty ridiculous. Even the Chinese restaurants don’t charge for under two. All in all for the price, you’re probably better off going down the road to the Chinese buffet. It’s cheaper and fresher. However, like I said, service was a+ true Southern service. I wish them the best in their endeavors. Hopefully they get things together a little bit better.

I had VERY low expectations, even after looking at the food out on the buffet… something about the outdated vibe and knowing it was the closet walking distance food option to our resort.

But sometimes when you are vacation, you lose track of time, and find yourself very hungry and lazy at awkward hours of the day. And thats how we ended up at Magnolias.

Price is cheap for a buffet, even after the 20% Myrtle Beach tax. Its got your salad bar and soups and side dishes. There’s a weekly rotation of food selections that you can find online prior. No fancy seafoods at lunch time but offers decent comfort foods like mac cheese or chicken pot pie. And unexpectedly, everything tasted better than it looked.

Had to water down the soups (too salty) but otherwise it was a quick fulfilling meal. Staff was casual but surprisingly attentive and friendly. Would come again if caught in a similar situation, with less hesitation.

It was awesome in every aspect. It’s not your conventional buffet but it was refreshing to have a polite server putting food on my plate as asked. All the help were friendly and respectful. I’ll recommend it to all and am looking forward to having breakfast there. Keep up the great work.

Such a great restaurant. Right across the street from the ocean in walking distance from the hotel. The food was great home cooking. Fresh and a great variety of foods. Desserts were out of this world so many to choose from homemade lemon chess pie was to die for. I will definitely be back!

One of the worst buffets I’ve ever had.
The food was cold and seemed to have been sitting in the buffet for a long time. Everything looked pretty old, and it tasted that way, too. Only the salad was fresh and delicious. You can’t help yourself; you have to ask for what you want. I’ve never seen anything like that at a buffet restaurant.
There were two of us there, each had one drink, and we had to pay almost $60.
The price was completely unreasonable given the poor quality and the limited selection.
Once and never again.
