Honestly the drink was okay but that’s about it. While taking my order they did not hear my name correctly so when they went and created the drink I couldn’t figure out which one was mine. When it came time to get it I was standing there with six different drinks on the counter and couldn’t figure out which one was mine. The issue was I asked for extra whipped cream but they put none on top so the lid was flattened and it just looked like a coffee. I had to stop her at the moment while she was creating another one and asked where my drink was. She asked for a name to which I said “Jeri” but from the image provided they wrote it incorrect and they did not provide any whipped cream until after. The drink itself was all right, a little bit runny and a little bit thin. I used to love getting double chocolate frappuccinos from Starbucks but they took that off the menu and so she had to make me some kind of cookie crumble thing which didn’t taste anything like it. Overall I don’t know why I bothered. It’s mainly because I was given a $5 gift card but I still ended up having to pay more. Starbucks is definitely not the way it used to be and definitely more expensive for such a tiny drink.

After a year of going to this location on and off in the morning on the way to school drop off, today, yet again, my drink order was wrong… Between me and my daughter on average one or both of our drinks are wrong 80% of the time. It’s dumbfounding… I do NOT suggest this Starbucks if you want any part of your order done accurately.

I come into Starbucks every morning before work and order my usual drive on the app on the way. Today is my birthday so I was extra happy today well I ordered my coffee 15 minutes in advance per usual because I don’t want to be late for work. Not only was my drink not ready I literally went to sit in the car to take a phone call for 10 minutes came back and they said oh thought you left so we didn’t make it! It’s a mobile order!!! I don’t have to be present you should have made the drink even if I was inside the store or not. What a great way to start my birthday off! I’m highly disappointed! It wasn’t even busy as normal! Please do better Starbucks

EDIT: I saw one of the staff throw bread at their employees. That rubbed me the wrong way, avoid at all cost; Sophia is the best barist, she makes our drinks with love and passion, that girl needs a raise! She is carrying that whole location, she’s saving this location.

I’m not sure what the issue is, but the service was off. I ordered an iced brown sugar shaken espresso (my usual order w/ no modifications). The first time it was made with no brown sugar sweetener so I took it back and said it was only coffee and milk. The girl asked how many pumps I wanted and I said I wanted it just as it comes. She said ok and put a lot of pumps. It was too sweet so I took it back and asked to have it made just as it comes she proceeds to tell me that it’s a semi sweet drink and i said I know b/c it’s my usual order and I want it just as it comes. They remade it and it was basically just milk and sweetener with no coffee this time. Uggggh I was over it at that point.

Coffee tasted awful and gave me a headache. Got my normal caramel hot latte so dont know how that was possible. Even as an ex barista for years I couldnt figure it out. They forgot one of my items for my takeout order and the other was melted due to it all just kinda being shoved together. Not a fan. Buyer beware. Bad location

This is by far one of the best Starbucks locations in McKinney. The early morning crew staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I will Gladly walk in in person to this location vs a drive through for good customer service. Every person working the morning of 9.3.25 deserves recognition for their hard work and kindness
